Spock

In Star Trek, Spock (Leonard Nimoy, Zachary Quinto) serves as first officer of the U.S.S. Enterprise. Having a mixed human and Vulcan heritage, he had a troubled childhood but has learned to use his unique perspective to his advantage.

The Shadow

Lamont Cranston (Alec Baldwin) is an American who sets up as an opium kingpin in Tibet after the Great War when a holy man abducts him and offers him the chance to become a force for good. He accepts, returning to New York living alternately as a millionaire playboy and The Shadow, an anonymous vigilante who terrorizes criminals. As you might guess, The Shadow was the main inspiration for Batman.

Leslie Vernon

Leslie Vernon is the focus and antagonist of the cult classic mockumentary comedy-horror Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon. He is a wannabe serial killer inspired by the likes of Jason, Michael, and Freddy (who in this world really exist). What he lacks in physical power he makes up for in his cunning planning and setting up of traps for his would-be victims. Don’t forget to wear and tear his clothes. Leslie Vernon walks barefoot, so it’s recommended that you wear sandals when not posing for pictures. Black face paint for the black circles around his eyes.

Doctor Strange

After a car accident ends Doctor Stephen Strange’s (Benedict Cumberbatch) career as a neurosurgeon, he embarks on a journey of healing in the Far East. There he encounters the Ancient One, who teaches him the mystical arts, with some help from the Cloak of Levitation and Eye of Agamotto.

Ghostbusters (2016)

The 2016 film is a reboot of the original Ghostbusters, swapping the ghost-catching crew out for Abby Yates (Melissa McCarthy), Erin Gilbert (Kristen Wiig), Jilian Holtzmann (Kate McKinnon), and Patty Tolan (Leslie Jones).

Dirty Harry

In Dirty Harry, Harold Francis Callahan (Clint Eastwood) is a police detective working the case for a psychopathic serial killer calling himself Scorpio. Dirty Harry doesn’t hesitate to cross professional and ethical boundaries, dispensing his own brand of justice with his trademark .44 Magnum.

Gideon Graves

In Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Gideon Gordon Graves (Jason Schwartzman) is Ramona Flower’s seventh evil boyfriend, and the founder of League of Ramona’s Evil Ex-Boyfriends. He’s also a music mogul who hosts the Sex Bob-ombs in a tournament, causing a great deal of conflict for Scott Pilgrim.

The Invisible Man

The Invisible Man is the name given to the protagonists of H.G. Wells’s sci-fi novel of the same name and the classic Universal Studios horror movie franchise that spawned from it. Besides that, similar characters have appeared in numerous other media, such as the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen comics and a stage play. Since there have been many people to take up the mantle, designs vary. Feel free to mix and match different articles of clothing. Personally, I like to use Solar Shields when I dress as him as opposed to Victorian sunglasses, because they look like goggles worn in more contemporary depictions, have side lenses like the 19th century sunglasses worn in the classic films, and are large enough to cover my eyeglasses.

Radio Raheem

In Do the Right Thing, Radio Raheem (Bill Nunn) is a towering young black man who carries a boom box around his New York neighborhood of Bed Stuy, blasting only Public Enemy’s “Fight the Power” on repeat.

Knives Chau

In Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Knives Chau (Ellen Wong) is a high school girl who dotes over Scott Pilgrim, at least until he breaks up with her for Ramona Flowers. She goes as far as to get highlights that match Ramona’s, although they get punched out of her hair by Todd Ingram.
