Sally Bowles is a character from the 1972 musical film, Cabaret and is played by Liza Minnelli. Sally is a 19 year old cabaret singer at the Kit Kat Club set in 1931 Berlin.

To dress like Sally in one of her most recognizable costumes, wear a black vest, black shorts, black vintage-style stockings, black lace-up heeled boots, and a black and purple necklace. For the hat, take a black bowler hat and add a wide purple ribbon.

Queen Renaldi is a character from the 2001 film, The Princess Diaries, and is played by Julie Andrews. It tells the story of Mia, a teenager who learns she is actually a princess. She goes on a journey to learn how to be one alongside the guidance of her grandmother, Queen Renaldi.

Queen Renaldi has an elegant and age appropriate style, while still having fun elements to it. To dress like her as a queen, wear a champagne gown, white opera gloves, a tiara and matching jewelry. For a casual look, wear a light blue flowy set that can be casual or worn out.

The Phantom of the Opera (2004) is a screen adaptation of the broadway musical. It tells the story of the Phantom who resides in a Paris opera house. He attempts to get closer to a singer named Christine.

In the long-awaited trailer for 2025’s A Minecraft Movie, Steve (Jack Black) makes his entrance, declaring “I… Am Steve”. Despite his fiery introduction, people have been left underwhelmed, feeling the blue shirt costume is a symptom that this film’s nothing more than a low-effort cash grab. Jenna is the main character in the 2004 romantic comedy, 13 Going on 30, and is played by Jennifer Garner. It follows the story of Jenna, a girl who turns into a grownup overnight. She experiences adulthood and learns that it’s not easy as she thought.

To dress like Jenna in her most iconic costume, wear a multicolor striped mini dress, a butterfly necklace, teal heels and any colorful jewelry you have. Curl your hair and put it up into a messy updo. For another more casual look, wear a pink lace slip dress and multicolored sleep mask.

Lou is the main character of the 2024 film Love Lies Bleeding, and is played by Kristen Stewart. It follows the story of Lou who is a gym manager that falls for a bodybuilder named Jackie. They fall into a world of violence and crime together.

To dress like Lou, one look consists of a gray cropped shirt worn over a fitted black and gray tank top. Use fake costume blood to create the look. Another is a red shirt which you can buy and simply cut the sleeves off of, leaving the raw edge, and pair with a pair of blue jeans.

Kinds of Kindness is a new film by Yorgos Lanthimos and is a triptych fable that follows three unique characters and their stories. Emma Stone plays the character(s) of Rita/Liz/Emily.

To dress like Emma as she appears in viral clips from the trailer and film you may have seen online of her dancing, wear a two-piece brown pantsuit, a purple or champagne shirt, brown flip-flops, and a teal blue crossbody purse.
