Puss In Boots from Shrek
Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) is a main character in the Shrek movies. Based on the fairytale as well as Zorro, he first appears in the sequel as a mercenary sent by the king to assassinate Shrek. However he ends up befriending him and becoming his ally. Puss in Boots is known to overpower enemies by distracting them with his “cute kitten” face. Despite his wit and sword skills, he acts like an ordinary cat. In particular, he is known to cough up hairballs. For makeup, you can use orange and white face paint. You can draw on his whiskers with a white eye pencil.
Alix Kubdel from Miraculous Ladybug
Alix Kubdel (voiced by Kira Buckland in English) is a character in the French cartoon Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. Alix has been both friend and foe to Ladybug as her the time traveling villain Timebreaker and also as the hero Bunnyx in the future. Alix has short cropped reddish-pink hair, and when not donning the costume of one of her alter egos, can often be found wearing checkered hi-tops with lime green accents and bright pink colors that match her colorful hair.
Dank and Dabby from Disjointed

Hm, red is looking kind of sus. Among Us is a multiplayer game about teamwork and betrayal. Similar to “Mafia” or “Push the Button,” one of your fellow astronauts is an impostor. As crewmate, your is to complete all your tasks, but as the impostor, your goal is to sabotage and kill everyone. Made for both mobile and desktop, the game has amassed a huge following this year, with 300,000 players per day and #1 in Simulation on the App Store. This costume requires some DIY for painting the helmet and dyeing the suit. While yellow is featured in this guide, you can swap out for the color of your choice. If you want to be an impostor, you can brandish a bloody prop knife and splatter some fake blood on the costume.
Homelander from The Boys
Homelander is a character in the Amazon TV series, The Boys, played by Antony Starr. He is the leader of The Seven, a team of superheroes who actually do more harm than good. His powers include flight, super strength, super hearing, plus x-ray and laser vision. Despite his symbolic similarities to Superman and Captain America, he is the antagonist. While the public thinks of him as a benevolent hero, he is actually vain, twisted, and power-obsessed. He is probably the most evil and sociopathic of The Seven. Billy Butcher knows his true character, and seeks revenge on him for the death of his wife.
Joker (1966)
The Joker is the main antagonist of the 1966 Batman TV series featuring Adam West as the titular hero. Famous Cuban-American actor Cesar Romero plays this role of the villain who always tries to outsmart the caped crusader. However, unlike more recent iterations, he is played for laughs and is mostly a harmless trickster.
Marcus from Raised by Wolves
Marcus (played by Travis Fimmel) is one of the main characters of the HBO Max show Raised by Wolves. He is a follower of the Mithraic faith, and eventually becomes the leader of a group of humans who have relocated to the planet Kepler-22b in order to escape an Earth ravaged by war. Marcus finds himself in conflict with Mother, an android who was previously sent to Kepler-22b with Father and human embryos in an effort to begin populating the new planet. Marcus’ clothing is tactical in feel and mostly white. If you have some skill with a paintbrush, you could paint the Mithraic sun symbol onto a white tunic. Otherwise, a Crusader costume will help evoke the same feel. For a little extra detail, use an FX kit to recreate the scarring on the right side of Marcus’ face.
Douglas Quaid from Total Recall
In Total Recall, Douglas Quaid (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) is a construction engineer on Earth in the year 2084. Quaid is having recurring dreams about Mars and a strange woman who lives there. He has never visited the planet but has always wanted to. Quaid decides to get to the “Rekall” center to have an implanted memory of Mars so he would not physically have to go. Before the Martian memories could be implanted Quaid violently reacts and has an episode so extreme “Rekall” agents sedate him, erase his memory of visiting and toss him in a taxi. We discover Quaid’s memories have been erased before and now he is under attack with clues from his former self known as “Hauser” telling him how to get back to Mars. Quaid’s quest is to get to Mars and to find the strange woman Melina. Quaid’s blue-collar working man’s clothes serve functionality. For a more complete look, you can tear some of the fabric and add fake blood on your face/body and clothes.
Ruth Whitefeather Feldman from Disjointed
Ruth Whitefeather Feldman (Kathy Bates) is a marijuana activist and one of the core characters on the show Disjointed. She has been an activist for more than thirty years, largely fighting for the legalization of marijuana. And while she might not always be the easiest person to get along with, she really does try to help the people around her. Whether or not they really want her help!
Ruth’s look is comfortable, colorful, and casual. You’ll want to start with a long wavy wig in silver tones. A long colorful shrug and coordinating top start the outfit while cuffed jeans and slip-on shoes finish the look. Add in some chunky jewelry and a burning desire for social justice and you’re ready to heal-p people, as Ruth likes to say!
