In Hazbin Hotel, Katie Killjoy is head anchor at 666 News, Hell’s premier news channel. She often tries to make Charlie’s attempts at redemption look foolish, and bullies her co-anchor Tom Trench, such as pouring hot scalding coffee into his lap.

In JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Jonathan Joestar is the first JoJo of the series and the hero of Phantom Blood, trained under Will Zeppeli. Joe’s costume is drab and not too flashy, although his stylish hat hints at the passion brimming underneath.

Tom partners with Katie Killjoy at the newsdesk, occasionally on the receiving end of on-air abuse from her, such as when he made a pun about “nailing” Cherri Bomb. Tom’s gas mask is expressive, leading to speculation that there’s nothing behind the mask and it is simply his face.
