Marcela Howard is the wife of Charles Howard, the owner of the champion racehorse, Seabiscuit. In the film, Seabiscuit, Elizabeth Banks plays the young and fashionable socialite. Her impeccable style is typical of 1930’s fashion.

Reilly in the film adaptation, his major musical number, “Mr. Cellophane,” is modeled after vaudeville tramp-clowns, reflecting his put-upon place in the story line. Vaudeville clown suits are difficult to find in black, so to replicate his tattered look, distress an oversized suit or pants and jacket, tie a large, silk scarf into a bow, and use light clown makeup.

In Chicago, Mary Sunshine is the sensationalist tabloid report who follows the stories of the women on Cook County Jail’s “Murderesses’ Row.” Portrayed by Christine Baranski in the film adaptation, Mary Sunshine’s costume are in line with what a professional reporter would have worn in the 1920’s.

Natalya Simonova (Izabella Scorupco) is the primary Bond Girl in the 1995 James Bond film Goldeneye. A smart, self-assured programmer of missile guidance systems at the Russian Space Force base Severnaya, she is caught up in Bond’s web when her office is blown up and she is one of two survivors. Natalya proves herself to be a valuable asset to Bond, destroying the Goldeneye satellite and saving him when he is stranded on a satellite dish.
