Randy Meeks is a main character in the first two Scream movies. He's a horror movie fanatic, which makes him paranoid about the identity of Ghostface. Despite surviving the Woodsboro murders, he gets murdered during the Windsor College Murders. While trying to help Gale and Dewey, Ghostface pulls him into a van, slits his throat, and stabs him four times. In Scream 3, his sister, Martha, delivers a tape he made before his death. Randy warns the survivors of what to expect, foreshadowing a third killing spree.
