Denji is the main character in the best-selling manga, Chainsaw Man. Illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the series was serialized in the weekly Shonen Jump magazine for two years until December 2020. Chainsaw Man takes place in a world where devils are born from fears. After his father’s passing, Denji inherited the debt owed to the yakuza. He meets the Chainsaw Devil Pochita and becomes a Devil Hunter to try and clear his debt. When the yakuza kill Denji, Pochita settles a contract with him and fuses with his heart. Now Denji can transform into Chainsaw Man, a devil-human hybrid with a chainsaw for a head and arms. He goes on to become a Public Safety Devil Hunter.

Rex (played by Steve Buscemi) is the bassist for the Lone Rangers in the movie Airheads.  Rex along with his friends and bandmates Chazz and Pip holds a radio station hostage in a bid to have the band’s demo tape heard by producers.  Rex has many bad tattoos on his arms and wears black jeans with combat boots and a distressed “Road Kill Café” t-shirt.  If roadkill isn’t your thing, you could use any dark distressed t-shirt in your arsenal to evoke a similar effect.  If you choose to wear a fake goatee as part of your costume, make sure to get a good skin-safe adhesive like spirit gum as well as remover to ensure it looks great, but also doesn’t hurt coming off.

With no memory of his past and few clues to go on, Nick (voiced by Andrew Lawrence) is one of the youngest and the most mysterious protagonists in the Dead Rising series. He also makes for a great cosplay with the exception of his weapon, the sledge saw, which takes a build all its own to replicate.

Sledge saw aside, a Nick Ramos cosplay is great for people who want something with reusable pieces. A set of coveralls with the sleeves torn off, workboots, and a patch is all you really need for the clothing. A tattoo pen lets you copy the “12” tattoo on his neck, finishing off the whole look.

Chazz Darby (played by Brendan Fraser) is the lead singer and guitarist for the band the Lone Rangers in the ’90s film Airheads.  Alongside his fellow bandmates Pip and Rex, Chazz takes control of a local radio station in order to give his band’s music some airtime.  Chazz has long hair and wears a headband to keep it off his face, a leather jacket, as well as multiple rings and necklaces to complete his quintessentially rockstar look.  Finding Chazz’s exact t-shirt is going to be nearly impossible, so you could use this opportunity to bust out a truly vintage ’90s tee from your collection with a vintage vibe, or shoot for something in a distressed wash in a similar shade of light purple.

Chauncey Pesky (voiced by Brian Doyle-Murray) is the patriarch of the Pesky family on the Disney Channel series The Buzz on Maggie.  Chauncey lives in a milk carton with his wife Frieda and their three children, Maggie, Aldrin, and Pupert. Chauncey wears large glasses and grey slacks with a white shirt and red tie.  If you can’t grow your own mustache, a false one can always suffice in a pinch!

James is the main antagonist in Twilight. He is a vampire with incredible tracking abilities, which Laurent describes as lethal. When he discovers Bella is human, he commits to hunting her down. It’s up to Edward and the other Cullens to stop him so Bella will be safe. Cam Gigandet portrays James in the movie adaptation. Tie the blond wig into a ponytail using a hair elastic.

Harry Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and actor. He got his start on X-Factor and joined a group of five other contestants. The boys went on to incredible success as the boyband One Direction. After their hiatus/break-up, each of the members embarked on solo musical careers. Harry pursued soft rock route with his debut studio album, Harry Styles. His second, most recent album, Fine Line, has a more upbeat pop feel, with catchy lyrics and a summer feel. It features his biggest hit yet, “Watermelon Sugar.” It broke records as the biggest debut from a British male artist. His outfit on the album’s cover is iconic, capturing a laidback, retro aesthetic. The jewelry and painted nails shows Harry embracing his feminine side.

Laurent is a character in the Twilight saga. He is a vampire in the nomadic coven with James and Victoria. During the chase, Laurent betrays them by helping the Cullens. After the encounter, he joins the Denali coven, who are also vegetarians, and falls for Irina. In New Moon, he returns to seek the Cullens to help Victoria take revenge, but he finds they have left Forks. However, he finds Bella in the meadow and decides to devour her himself. Just in of time, Jacob and the wolf pack spring into action and kill him. Edi Gathegi portrays Laurent in the movie adaptations. This guide features both of his outfits.
