Carbon Costume

Zeus is the main character in the new Netflix series KAOS and is played by Jeff Goldblum. KAOS is a modern dark comedy series that is inspired by the characters and stories of Greek mythology.

To dress like Zeus, wear a blue two-piece tracksuit, a white tee, and an off-white or pale yellow apron. Use fabric paints to create the similar striped pattern and wear aviator-style sunglasses. Another take on this look uses just the blue pants from the tracksuit set, the white tee, and then layer an orange patterned robe.

In GI Joe, Sgt. Slaughter was a drill instructor with the United States Marine Corps who was literally born on Parris Island. He’s the toughest, no-nonsense member of all the Joes. He’s inspired by the pro wrestler Robert Rudolph Remus who performed under the same name and voiced him in the 1980s Sunbow cartoon. Slaughter’s standard uniform was a black tank top, camo pants, mirrored sunglasses, and a big bushy mustache.

Silver (voiced in the Pokemon Generations anime in Japanese by Ryōta Ōsaka and in English by Lucien Dodge, and in the Pokemon Masters game in Japanese by Yūki Ono and in English by Joe Zieja) is the main antagonist/rival in the (Heart)Gold and (Soul)Silver Pokemon games, opposite Gold(/Ethan), and shows up frequently through other forms of Pokemon media. He is the son of the leader of Team Rocket, Giovanni, though he prefers to distance himself from his father and follow his own path.

Silver has mid-shoulder length dark red hair, worn partially over one eye, and depending on the version, his eyes are either a greyish silver, or a similar red color. His HeartGold/SoulSilver outfit consists of a dark purpley-black jacket with red detailing, worn over a black shirt, and his pants are a mid-toned purple, with a silver buckled belt. The look is finished off with black shoes with red detailing, and depending on version, he sometimes has black gloves.

Lost in Translation is a film by Sofia Coppola. It stars Bill Murray as Bob Harris. The story follows a lonely movie star named Bob Harris and newlywed Charlotte who meet in Tokyo and form a bond after learning what they have in common.

This would be a great costume for film fans and couples, alongside a Charlotte costume. To dress like Bob, you can go for his robe costume from the poster or the costume he wears alongside Charlotte in her iconic pink wig. For the robe, wear a green robe and white slippers. For the karaoke look, wear a black coat over a yellow and black tee and black trousers.

In Phineas and Ferb, Major Francis Monogram (voiced by Jeff “Swampy” Marsh) is Agent P’s commanding officer at O.W.C.A. who assigns him missions. His personality is all business, and he gets stuff done with the aid of his intern, Carl Karl, especially when it applies to new technology. Major Monogram wears a green suit with a purple “MM” monogrammed on it.

Garrett ‘The Garbage Man’ Garrison is a character from the new Minecraft (2024) movie trailer, and is played by Jason Momoa. Minecraft is a live-action film adaption of the very popular video game of the same name.

To dress like Garrett in the trailer, wear a bright pink leather jacket. Attach fringe along the back and the arms of the same color. With this, wear a white tee with red piping, light-wash distressed blue jeans, fingerless knitted blue or purple gloves, and any shoes or boots.

Tyler is one of the main characters from the new film Twisters, and is played by Glen Powell. Twisters is a new film in the Twister series with a brand new cast and storyline. It follows the story of Kate who is convinced to start storm chasing again by her friend, Javi. She meets Tyler, a storm chaser who is famous on social media.

To dress like Tyler, wear a maroon shirt or flannel, blue denim jeans, a belt with a buckle, cream cowboy hat, and sunglasses. To take the look even further, you could distress the shirt with a black or very deep maroon fabric paint, buffing it into the fabric with paper towels at the edges, and using sandpaper on the seams to give the used look and to highlight them. You could also run over them with light brown paint the same way.

In Phineas and Ferb, Carl Karl (voiced by Tyler Alexander Mann) is the loyal but hapless intern of Major Monogram. Beside his trademark purple glasses, he sports curly auburn hair, green eyes, and freckles. He’s also on the lookout for a girlfriend, ladies.
