Dieter Bravo from The Bubble
Dieter Bravo is a character from the comedy film The Bubble, and is played by Pedro Pascal. The Bubble follows a movie cast as they aim to create a blockbuster action film while quarantining at a hotel. Dieter is an experienced actor that is struggling with addiction and develops a love interest with a front desk worker at the hotel.
Dieter has two different kinds of looks, when he’s in quarantine in the hotel and his costume when he is on set filming the movie. In his room he wears a bathrobe, pajama pants, a t-shirt, and sunglasses. For his costume, he wears a red puffer jacket and black pants.
Usopp from One Piece (Live Action)
Usopp is a character in One Piece. He is a part of the Straw Hat Pirates led by Monkey D. Luffy. Boisterous yet loyal, Usopp specializes in marksmanship and invention. His goal is to become a brave, famous warrior of the sea, like his infamous pirate father, Yasopp. In the 2023 live action Netflix adaptation, Jacob Romero portrays Usopp.
Ben from Anyone But You
Anyone But You is a new comedy/romance film directed by Will Gluck, and stars Sydney Sweeney as Bea and alongside her, Glen Powell as Ben. In the film, we follow the two characters as they have a successful first date that quickly turns upside down. They later unexpectedly run into each other at a wedding in Australia and pretend to be the perfect couple together.
Ben’s suit is perfect for summer and can easily be recreated. This look consists of a cream linen blazer, cream linen dress pants, a white button-down shirt, and boat/ deck shoes in a brown color.
Felix Catton from Saltburn
Saltburn is a new film by Emerald Fennel that follows Oliver Quick as he stays in his rich classmate Felix’s estate, and a series of horrifying events occur. Felix is played by Jacob Elordi in the film.
Saltburn features an array of eccentric costumes fit for parties. One iconic costume that Felix wears is a pair of gold wings with a casual outfit that features a white tank top, relaxed-fit blue jeans and a blue nylon belt. Another look of his is a yellow linen lightweight shirt along with blue jeans.
Spider-Punk from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
Spider-Punk is a character voiced by Daniel Kaluuya from the movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. In this new animated film, we follow Brooklyn’s friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man as he travels across the Multiverse. One of the characters we meet is Spider-Punk, an alternate version of Hobie Brown and Spider-Man.
To re-create this alternative look, start with the classic Spider-Man costume. Next, layer the base costume pieces like the purple plaid pants, black leather vest, red boots with blue laces, and optionally a blue tee. There are many detail pieces you can add on top of this like different themed buttons/ pins including the British flag, metal spike studs to the vest, a studded belt, choker, and wristbands. Finally, add a taller variety of metal spike studs to the top of the head on the Spider-Man costume.
Larxene from Kingdom Hearts
Larxene (voiced in Japanese by Yūko Miyamura and in English by Shanelle Gray) is part of the main group of antagonists in the Kingdom Hearts game franchise.
She is number Twelve in Organization XIII, under the title of The Savage Nymph, and she works with electricity magic and small daggers. We see her as a Somebody in KHUX, previously called Elrena before becoming part of the Organization, and she went from that gentle-seeming character, to a rather sadistic woman.
Larxene has golden blonde hair that she wears heavily slicked back and down, with two little bits sticking out like antennae, and her eyes are a brilliant turquoise. She wears the same black cloak as the rest of the Organization, though hers is much more form fitting, as well as the pants she wears being more like leggings. The black gloves and boots are similar to the regular ones as well, though her boots are more styled into high heels.
Oliver Quick from Saltburn
Saltburn is a new film by Emerald Fennel that follows Oliver Quick (played by Barry Keoghan) as he stays in his rich classmate Felix’s estate, and a series of horrifying events occur.
Saltburn features an array of eccentric costumes fit for parties. One iconic costume that Oliver wears is this white suit with deer antlers to a Midsummer Night’s Dream themed party. To create this costume wear a printed white blazer or hand paint your own pattern on a solid white blazer with fabric paint. Pair this with white dress pants, a brown belt, green shoes, and of course a headband with deer antlers.
The Driving Crooner
This costume is from I Think You Should Leave, a sketch comedy show created by Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin. Its third season debuted on Netflix this year. Robinson’s character offers his number to colleagues to be their designated driver. When a co-worker takes him up on the offer, he announces himself as The Driving Crooner. He has car decals of a fedora and cigar so onlookers can understand his persona. Yet the speed traffic and other drivers cause him anxiety – they’re trying to make it look fake. He wonders how he’s ever going to make any money off of this.
Zoro from One Piece (Live Action)
Zoro is a character in One Piece. His full name is Roronoa Zoro. He is a part of Monkey D. Luffy’s crew. is an accomplished bounty hunter and master swordsman. His goal is to become the world’s greatest swordsman. His signature sword fighting style is the “Three Swords Style” which involves a sword in each hand and the third in his mouth. In the 2023 live action Netflix adaptation, Mackenyu Maeda portrays Zoro.
Kermit the Frog from The Great Muppet Caper
The Great Muppet Caper sees everyone’s favorite muppet, Kermit the Frog (voiced by Jim Henson), as a reporter who travels to London with his identical twin brother Fozzie Bear to investigate a jewel thief. Gonzo joins as their photographer. Kermit maintains his signature bipedal frog appearance, green skin and all. However, his reporter personality shines through in his costume, which consists of a beige trilby hat and matching trench coat over striped trousers, a button down shirt, and a blue bow tie. You’ll need some double-sided tape to help keep your hat on your Kermit mask. Complete the look with green gloves and shoes.
