Julie Winters is the freelance social worker in the comic book and MTV animated series: The Maxx. Julie’s style evolves around seduction and attitude. Sultry, but with a military-like aesthetic. She is a troubled woman with a dark past trying to find her way in the world. When she’s not being a jungle queen within her and the Maxx’s sub consciousness, she’s working but dreading her profession in the city listening to people’s problems while shutting out her own.

To achieve her look, you’ll need: a cut off ‘cropped’ white tank top, black fishnet shorts, distressed/cut blue jeans, a classic brown leather belt, a burgundy colored scrunchie, a green army jacket, (black doc martins are optional), and of course, blonde hair pulled into a grungy pigtail.

Miss Molly Hooper (Louise Brealey), a specialist registrar who works in the morgue of St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, is a close friend of one Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) in the BBC series Sherlock. Under her work-appropriate lab coat, Molly is often seen wearing clothing that could perhaps by described as a little frumpy and comfortable. She is a generally unassuming woman, only flaring up at Sherlock when the situation calls for it.

DC Bombshells is an alternate reality where the female superheroes guard the homefront during WWII. In this reality, Zatanna is a magician modeled after the classic pinups of the 1940’s.

Wendy Torrance is the wife of Jack Torrance and mother of Danny Torrance in the Stephen King novel The Shining and Stanley Kubrick’s 1980 film of the same name, where she’s portrayed by Shelley Duval.

Frances “Frankie” Foster is a main character and the caretaker at her grandmother’s home in the Cartoon Network cartoon Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends and a character from the CN MMO Fusion Fall.

Lorraine Broughton is the protagonist of the graphic novel The Coldest City and its 2017 film adaptation Atomic Blonde portrayed by Charlize Theron. She is a secret agent who becomes involved in a global Cold War conspiracy where she gets involved with the CIA, MI6, and KGB all at once. She wears many stylistic outfits over the course of the film, this guide focuses on the costume presented in most promotional material.

In True Romance, Alabama Whitman (Patricia Arquette) seems to hit it off with Clarence Worley at a kung fu screening. But she reveals that she’s a call girl hired by his boss for a birthday present, even though she’s actually falling in love with him.

Amy Blue is the femme fatale 17 year old cynical chick from Gregg Araki’s 1995 indie film The Doom Generation. Which was the start of Rose McGowan’s career and has recently gained a cult status in the past few years.

Amy’s style definitely resonated with her personality and scenes, as well as the rest of the plot. There are a number of outfits that mirrors teen angst and teenage innocence, but the one that stands out to say the least is her signature black mini dress (which is featured on about every poster regarding the movie.)

To pull off this look, You’ll need: a simple black mini dress, a pair of rough combat boots and white socks, a heavy but bulky leather jacket (Amy’s has a Chicago Police patch on the arm sleeve), a pair of ivory pearls and/or pearl chain with a single silver ring attached, silver band rings, along with some geometrical plastic ones, black lace bra and panties, and of course: a sleek dark brown/black bob with a piercing skull ring along with the word ‘kill’ either written or carved into your knuckle.
