Lettuce (Retasu) Midorikawa from Tokyo Mew Mew (2002)

Lettuce (voiced in Japanese by Kumi Sakuma and in English by Erica Shroeder) is one of the main characters of the anime/manga Tokyo Mew Mew (2002 anime).

She is the third person to join the Mew Mews and has the DNA of a finless porpoise. Before meeting the others, she was often only in the company of girls from her school that would bully her and make her run errands. After meeting Ichigo and the others, she comes more out of her shell.

Lettuce has green eyes and long bright green hair worn tied back in a long ponytail, and two white ribbon-like pieces sticking out of her bangs. The rest of her outfit is also green themed, with a swimsuit looking outfit with tails emulating tailfins, puffy green sleeve cuffs, a matching green and white choker and garter set, and green boots.

goldilocks from puss n boots the last wish

Goldilocks from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish

Goldilocks (voiced by Florence Pugh) is all grown up in the Dreamworks animated feature Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.  The leader of a criminal gang which includes the Three Bears from her well-known fairy tale, Goldilocks allies herself with Big Jack Horner in a bid to secure the Last Wish so she can be reunited with her biological family.  Goldilocks wears her hair into two enormous curly buns with two locks trailing down her back.  Her costume includes a puff sleeve blouse under a blue corset top, a multicolored skirt, and brown boots.  To recreate her look, you can layer multiple skirts together, and even use a pair of scissors to give them a more shredded look.  Use a blonde wig with pigtail clip-ins styled as two buns and secured with teal hair ties (in the film, her hair is held in place with beaded ties, but any texture will do).  Finally, wind a leather strap around your right wrist, and accessorize with pearls, a multicolored necklace, and mismatched earrings.  Her staff, which has a v-shaped top, also has pearl strands wound around it.

Asa Mitaka from Chainsaw Man

Asa Mitaka is a character in the best selling manga and hit anime, Chainsaw Man. Illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the series was serialized in Shonen Jump for two years with new chapters bi-weekly. However, Asa is quiet, unsociable, and awkward. Asa/Yoru have the ability to turn anything into a weapon. If you want to dress as Asa, put the hair pigtails. If you want to dress as Yoru, wear the hair down and draw scars across your face.

May from It Takes Two

May (voiced by Annabelle Dowler) is one of the protagonists of the adventure video game It Takes Two.  The mother of Rose and wife of Cody, May finds her mind transported into a doll her daughter has made in the midst of her separation from her husband.  Cody is transported as well and they must work together to find their way home.  May’s doll likeness includes blue hair made of yarn, a yellow sweater with a blue button and rope details, patchwork pants, and a pair of black shoes.  She also wears black round-framed glasses.  To recreate her costume, take a pair of scissors to a turtleneck sweater.  You can style a blue wig into a bun and then wrap yarn around it to get closer to May’s appearance in the game.  You can also fashion a blue button from a paper plate, and add stitching details with the remaining yarn if you feel up for a little sewing.

Zakuro Fujiwara from Tokyo Mew Mew (2002)

Zakuro (voiced in Japanese by Junko Noda and in English by Mollie Weaver) is one of the main characters of the anime/manga Tokyo Mew Mew (2002 anime).

She is the fifth and final of the Mew Mews to join the main group (not counting the ones that come in later in follow-up volumes), and has the DNA of a grey wolf. It takes her a while to be open to join the team, as she is very fiercely independent and unsociable, due to past trauma. She’s got a lot of varied talents, many of which having to do with performing, such as dancing, singing, and modeling.

Zakuro has purpley-blue eyes and long, deep lavender colored hair, topped with grey wolf ears, which have an accompanying tail. She is the only one out of the girls that wears a two piece outfit for her Mew look, with her whole color scheme being a dark magenta/purple. She has a cropped tube top with puffed side sleeves, wrist cuffs, short shorts, a matching garter and collar set, and thigh high boots.

Pudding Fong from Tokyo Mew Mew (2002)

Pudding (voiced in Japanese by Hisayo Mochizuki and in English by Kether Donohue) is one of the main characters of the anime/manga Tokyo Mew Mew (2002 anime).

She is the fourth to join the Mew Mews and has the DNA of a golden lion tamarin. Pudding is a circus performer and highly experienced in martial arts, thanks to the tutelage of her father. Out of the girls, she is the one that most closely matches with the traits of her animal.

Pudding’s look is very yellow and brown themed, including her short fluffy blonde hair, brown eyes, and brown monkey ears/tail. She wears a yellow one piece jumpsuit with separated side cuffed sleeves, a matching set of a brown and yellow choker and garter, brown fingerless gloves, tied yellow leg pieces, and brown slip on shoes.

Arisa Uotani (Uo) from Fruits Basket

Uo (voiced in Japanese by Atsumi Tanezaki and in English by Elizabeth Maxwell) is one of the secondary characters in the anime/manga Fruits Basket.

She was formerly involved in gang activity in middle school, but ended up leaving her gang with Tohru‘s help, being saved by Tohru’s mom from being mortally wounded by the remaining members. Finding her own path, she ended up becoming fast best friends with Tohru, as well as Saki once she transferred to their class.

Uo has very long golden blonde hair that she generally wears over one eye, which are golden brown in color. Like her friends, she also wears the blue and white school uniform, but prefers to wear the top with the sleeves half rolled up, no tie or mid-piece, and with a maroon shirt underneath. She wears a much longer skirt than Tohru, reaching to nearly her ankles. She seems to have a few different types of shoes she wears, but the ones I went with were white slip-ons.
