Enid Sinclair from Wednesday
Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers) is a character in Netflix’s Wednesday. She is a werewolf student who attends Nevermore Academy. She is also roommates with Wednesday Addams. Born in California, Enid is bright, sunny, and cheerful — the exact opposite of the titular character. Although she is unafraid to stand up for those she cares about. Throughout the series, she befriends and supports Wednesday, helping her investigate the murders. For her casual clothes, she mostly wears pastels and pinks.
Alice Angel from Bendy and the Ink Machine
Alice Angel (voiced in part by Alanna Linayre playing her original voice actress) is a character from Bendy and the Ink Machine. The first female character created by her animation studio, Alice’s popularity was on par with other well-known characters including Bendy and Boris. There are two ways to go about recreating Alice’s look, which will determine which supplies or accessories you may need. If you choose to simply dress as her, you won’t have to worry about body paint and can choose a pair of sheer thigh-high stockings to pair with your black dress, gloves, and heels. If you’re interested in going for the true black-and-white appearance of her original cartoon, you’ll need white body paint for your face, chest, and upper arms, and a pair of white tights. Lastly, don’t forget your wavy black hair, white horn clips, and halo. Use a makeup stick to add black pigment to your lips and draw on Alice’s beauty mark below her right eye. For an extra bit of authenticity, a fabric marker can be used to add black circles to the palms of your gloves.
Helga Sinclair from Atlantis: The Lost Empire
Helga Sinclair (voiced by Claudia Christian) is the secondary antagonist of the Disney animated feature Atlantis: The Lost Empire. She serves as Preston Whitmore’s second-in-command on the expedition to Atlantis which assembles a crew including Milo Thatch and Audrey Ramirez to find the mythical city. Helga has long blonde hair usually worn in a braid. Throughout the film, she wears a few different outfits, though is mostly seen in a pair of olive green military-style pants and brown boots, as well as gloves, and wearing either a white tank top or black turtleneck.
Wednesday Addams from Wednesday
Everyone is watching Netflix’s Wednesday, a supernatural coming-of-age comedy featuring the iconic daughter of the Addams family. Portrayed by Jenna Ortega, Wednesday is sixteen with a sharp mind and sarcastic remarks. When she gets expelled from school, Gomez and Morticia send her to Nevermore Academy, where they met and fell in love. Wednesday finds herself investigating a murder spree alongside new friends — and foes. Whether you cosplay her collared dress or school uniform, black is a must. And don’t smile, unless Uncle Fester decides to surprise you with a visit.
Mia Winters from Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
Mia Winters (voiced by Katie O’Hagan) is a character in Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The wife of Ethan and mother of Rosemary, Mia is a covert operative and caretaker for Eveline. In Resident Evil 7, Mia wears a grey tank top with wide straps, dark jeans, and white sneakers. Her hair is worn loose, parted to one side.
Carmelita Spats from A Series of Unfortunate Events
Carmelita Spats (played by Kitana Turnbull) is a spoiled bully at the Austere Academy in Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events.  Carmelita bullies the Baudelaires, including Klaus, for being orphans. Carmelita has red hair worn in ringlets with pink bows. Her wardrobe tends toward pink dresses with white tights and short heels. To recreate her look, you’ll want to find a pink dress to build your costume around. Any pink dress can work, though something that is frilly and high-collared will be best, since it will also give you a place to wear her signature brooch, which she eventually gives to Count Olaf.
Portia from The White Lotus
In season 2 of The White Lotus, Portia is socialite Tanya’s personal assistant, accompanying her on a ritzy vacation to Sicily. This Gen Z’s fashion, or lack thereof, has gotten plenty of notice, with actor Haley Lu Richardson explaining it reflects the character’s own lack of identity. Her colorful outfits feature plenty of knitwear, which makes sense since Haley crochets goods available on her Etsy store, HookedByHaleyLu, on the side.
Roxanne Ritchi from Megamind
Roxanne Ritchi (voiced by Tina Fey) is a Metro City reporter in the animated film Megamind. Roxanne is the one-time rumored girlfriend of superhero Metro Man, and has been kidnapped by Megamind so often she is no longer afraid of him. Roxanne has short brown hair and wears a white button-down blouse with a grey pencil skirt and black heels. When it’s revealed her cameraman Hal Stewart has gone bad, Roxanne does all she can to stop him and protect Metro City.
Emma from The Promised Neverland
In The Promised Neverland, Emma is a smart, cheerful, friendly 11 year old living at the Grace Field House orphanage. Life there is idyllic, with good food, comfortable beds, and plenty of games. When they find out that their purpose is to be raised as meat for demons, it’s Emma who leads the other orphans to escape for freedom.
Empress of Light from Terraria
The Empress of Light is a Hardmode boss from the Terraria video game. She is encountered in the Hallow. The Empress of Light has a beautiful, prismatic appearance, despite her vicious attack style. To recreate her look, use golden yellow body paint on your face and neck to match the color of your bodysuit. Then, you’ll pair it with a blue monokini or cut-out leotard, gloves, boots, and ruffles worn around your upper arms, as well as a pink wig and matching pink open-front skirt. Finally, you’ll need a pair of elf ears (which you can make appear more yellow with the same body paint used on your face), a blue unicorn horn, and gold crown. Finally, don’t forget your impressive multicolored wings.
