Azami Kurotami from Uzumaki

Azami Kurotami is a character in the horror manga novel by Junji Ito. She is a student and resident of Kurozu-Cho, the town cursed by spirals. She is friends with Kirie and has an obsessive crush on Shuichi. Her beauty captivates boys, as well as the scar on her forehead. Eventually the scar develops into a spiral that overtakes her face and eats her whole. Use black eyeliner to draw a spiral on your forehead or around your eye. Kirie is a recurring target of the spirals, such as when her hair curls into spirals. Her friend and eventual boyfriend, Shuichi Saito, often rescues Kirie from these attacks. Shuichi Saito is a major character in Uzumaki, the horror manga novel by Junji Ito. He is a resident of Kurozu-Cho, the city cursed by spirals. Shuichi is the first person to catch on to the curse, because he has the ability to sense spirals. The chain of events begin when his father becomes obsessed with spirals. Upon his father’s death, his mother becomes terrified of spirals, leading to her death and leaving Shuichi an orphan. He often saves his friend and eventual girlfriend, Kirie Goshima, from the curse. In the end, the two find the City of Spirals underneath the town, and they become intertwined together forever. Uzumaki received a 2024 anime adaptation on Adult Swim, now streaming on Hulu.

In Sailor Moon, Sailor Tin Nyanko is one of the Sailor Animamates. She wears a shiny black top with matching skirt, long gloves, tall boots, and a long black cat tail. Her choker and top are adorned with jingle bells, fitting since her last name Suzu translates to “little bells”. Like the other Animamates, she wears Galactica bracelets.

Ritsu Kasanoda from Ouran High School Host Club

Ritsu (voiced in Japanese by Wataru Hatano and in English by Christopher Sabat) is a secondary main character in the anime/manga series, Ouran High School Host Club.

He is a student at Ouran Academy along with the rest of the main cast and aims to learn under Mori’s tutelage on how to be respected despite having a hard emotional exterior. He is a successor to the strongest yakuza group in the Kantō region, Kasanoda-gumi, though he’s actually surprisingly very kind under his quick temper.

Ritsu has nearly shoulder length muted tone reddish-brown hair that he wears tied up with his bangs partially in his face, and he is usually seen wearing a variation of the Ouran Academy uniform. For the top half, he wears the standard periwinkle blazer with the crest, but he does wear it unbuttoned, as well as the white dress shirt underneath, and you can see his light yellow undershirt and gold dangle necklace that he wears. For the bottoms, he does wear the regular black slacks and loafers.

Shinya Oda from Persona 5/Royal

Shinya (voiced in Japanese by Aki Kanada and in English by Barbara Goodson [P5/P5R]/Eden Riegel [P5A]) is a secondary character in the Persona 5 series.

He is a character you meet early on in the series once you unlock the arcade, as he spends most of his time there as an ace marksman in the Gun About arcade game. Once you spend more time with him he ends up becoming one of your Confidant pathways, with his arcana being that of ‘The Tower’.

Shinya has choppy cut black hair and dark grey eyes, and he wears a red ball cap with GET SMOKED on it in gold lettering. His upper layer is a white and light blue varsity jacket with gold detailing, a red circle with a white ’16’ inside of it, and ‘NOOBS’ across the chest in black and white lettering. His pants are a dark grey-blue pair of jeans that are rolled up to just below the knees, and he wears midtoned blue sneakers without visible socks.
