Dominique de Sade from The Case Study of Vanitas

Dominique [Domi] (voiced in Japanese by Ai Kayano and in English by Alexis Tipton) is one of the major protagonists in the anime/manga series The Case Study of Vanitas, by Jun Mochizuki.

She is a vampire, much like the majority of the rest of the main cast of the series, and has been very close friends with Noé since they were kids. The main vampire governmental stronghold, Carbunculus Castle, has her currently employed as a knight.

Domi has long black hair that reaches down past her mid-back, and vibrant golden eyes. Her work outfit consists of a white military-styled jacket with pinkish-lavender lined coattails, black and gold accents, and a white and purple sash. Her undershirt is a high-collared black shirt with a matching bowed cravat topped by a vibrant gem. Her pants are white and mostly covered with thigh-high boots, with grey tops, and golden metallic heels and shoe tips. The rest of the look is finished off by dark pinkish-red gloves, and her trademark sword.

Shalnark Ryuseih from Hunter x Hunter

Shalnark (voiced in Japanese by Noriko Hidaka and in English by Griffin Burns) is one of the members of the main group of antagonists of the York New arc of the Hunter x Hunter series.

He is one of the initial founding members of the Phantom Troupe, having known Chrollo since they were both very young, with the majority of the members all growing up together in Meteor City. Shalnark’s nen specialty is Manipulation, and he uses a modified cell phone in order to control people like puppets, which also extends to himself, using his autopilot mode to turn him into an extremely powerful fighting force.

His color palette is significantly different in the 1999 adaptation, but in the 2011 version of the anime, he has a much lighter pastel appearance. His hair is a short cut blonde with a slight green wash to it, and his eyes are a mid-toned green. He wears a matching two-piece outfit, with the sleeveless top a light lavender color, with a black under layer, and different shades of teal as the cuffs and waistband, with small white details. The pants are the same lavender shade, and are cuffed just above the ankles, revealing slip on shoes that match the teal detailing on the top.

Gilbert Ross from B the Beginning

Gilbert (voiced in Japanese by Toshiyuki Morikawa and in English by John DeMita) is one of the secondary main characters in the Netflix original anime series B the Beginning.

He works with the R.I.S. as their head forensics coroner, helping give them insight on the nastier parts of their cases. Out of the main cast, the one he’s closest to is Keith, as they have known each other for a very long time, and considers him a mental competitor in study.

Gilbert has white hair that he wears slicked back except for two long strands on either side of his face, and his eyes are a soft, bright blue. He wears a dark grey turtleneck that he has a mid-length white labcoat over, with a pen nested in the pocket. His pants are a pair of light grey slacks, which he wears a black belt on top of, and his shoes are a light grey slip-on formal shoe with a slight heel.

Goro Akechi from Persona 5/Royal

Goro Akechi (voiced in Japanese by  Sōichirō Hoshi and in English by Robbie Daymond) is one of the major characters in the Persona 5 set of the franchise, featuring in the majority of the games in the 5 umbrella.

He is a well known TV personality, following the success of him as an up and coming detective despite still being in high school, much to his discomfort. Throughout Royal you get to experience him much more as a fleshed out character, meeting him for solo-hangouts at his favorite jazz bar and playing pool and darts with him, building many more layers into his relationship with the protagonist. Akechi briefly joins the Phantom Thieves, after being one of their biggest criticizers, though the major twist puts an end to that relatively quickly (Royal also expands on this, and adds an extra team dynamic).

He has shaggy, light-brown hair that he wears just above his shoulders, and his eyes are a lovely chocolate brown. The main outfit we see him in (not including the additional Royal outfit) consists of a white button-up shirt with a white tie covered in thin black stripes, and a light tan peacoat worn over top, with his badge affixed to the pocket, and a tiny pin on the the lapel. He wears black slacks with matching loafers, and the look is finished off with a pair of black leather gloves, which end up being very plot relevant later on.

Fuyumi Todoroki from My Hero Academia

Fuyumi (voiced in Japanese by Kei Shindō and in English by Kate Oxley) is a secondary character in the anime/manga series My Hero Academia.

She is the second oldest of the Todoroki siblings, and the only daughter. Despite having a quirk like her brothers (hers being ice only), she didn’t go towards a hero profession and instead became an elementary school teacher.

Fuyumi looks very visually similar to her mother, with long white hair, though it’s flecked with red stripes from her dad’s color. Her eyes are turquoise in the manga, but they were changed to gray in the anime. She has a wide variety of outfits she’s seen in throughout the series, but they’re all relatively in the same style. For this one she wears a white polo shirt, a deep burgundy open front cardigan, slate grey slacks, a black belt, and white and grey-blue sneakers.

Chrollo Lucilfer from Hunter x Hunter

I have previously covered the disguise that Chrollo wears in the York New arc in another article, so this one will be focusing more on one of his more regularly worn outfits.

While the other look was meant to help him blend in during the auction and get on Neon Nostrade’s good side in order to manipulate her into giving him the fortune readings he was looking for, this is how he is more commonly seen while interacting with the rest of the Troupe members.

He wears the same teal bulb earrings as in his disguise, but in this outfit he wears his hair slicked back, revealing the tattoo on his forehead. His undershirt is black with a intricately detailed crisscrossing pattern, with a similar ribbon-crossed pattern on his matching pants, and a light tan belt worn off-center across the top of the pants. The main feature part of his outfit is a long black coat with an extremely over-exaggerated fluffy white trim around the collar, as well as the cuffs, and there is a large St. Peter’s cross embellished on the back. The shoes he wears with this outfit are black with large decorate gold pieces that match the ones worn on the shoulder regions of his coat.

Shoto Todoroki from My Hero Academia (School Uniform)

Shoto (voiced in Japanese by Yūki Kaji and in English by David Matranga) is one of the main characters in the anime/manga series, My Hero Academia.

He is a student at UA, in class 1-A with Izuku Midoriya, and often teams up with both him and Katsuki Bakugo. The three of them formed a group to do a work study under Shoto’s father, the pro-hero Endeavor. He got a mix of quirks from both his parents, and is able to use both the powers of fire as well as ice, though he was hesitant to use the fire side earlier on in the series due to the trauma caused by his family.

We do already have an article for his hero outfit available here, so for this one I’ll be covering his school attire. His hair doesn’t change between outfits, it’s still the same styled two toned red and white, and his eyes are alternatively turquoise and brownish-grey, with a scar covering the turquoise side. Since this is the school outfit, he wears the standard grey and dark teal blazer, with matching pants, a white button up shirt, and a red tie. For his shoes, he wears similar ones to his sister, with them being the same style sneaker, in a light blueish-green.

Karamatsu Matsuno from Osomatsu-San

Karamatsu (voiced in Japanese by Yuichi Nakamura and in English by Ray Chase) is from the anime Osomatsu-san, the newest iteration in the Osomatsu series.

He is the second oldest brother in the Matsuno family, just under Osomatsu (the titular character) and is an absolute menace to those around him, as he likes to portray himself as an excessively flamboyant person, with the good majority of his clothes having some form of flashy element to them, such as sequins.

Karamatsu has the same hair color as his brothers, in the same dark brownish-black short cut, and dark eyes. His hoodie is like the other’s, with his being a mid-toned blue, with the same green pine tree emblem on the front, and he wears a pair of light jeans with slip on shoes in almost the same color. For his main accessory, he is often seen wearing a pair of sunglasses.

marcus damon from Digimon Data Squad

Marcus Damon from Digimon Data Squad

Marcus Damon (voiced by Sōichirō Hoshi and Quinton Flynn) is the main character of Digimon Data Squad.  Marcus is the son of a Digimon researcher and is extremely combative, though he’s loving and loyal when it comes to his friends and family.  Marcus has long auburn hair with fame-fracing bangs.  His outfit consists of a black sleeveless shirt, a red and white vest, and olive green pants.  His accessories include black and red sneakers, black wrist cuffs, and a silver necklace given to him by his father.

Todomatsu Matsuno from Osomatsu-San

Todomatsu (voiced in Japanese by Miyu Irino and in English by Max Mittelman) is from the anime Osomatsu-San, the newest iteration in the Osomatsu series.

He’s the youngest out of the Matsuno sextuplets, and the only one of them that seems consistently motivated to actually make something of himself. Totty is very fashion and socially forward, and tends to be more outgoing, while also being a bit of a brat.

He has the same blackish brown hair and eyes like his brothers, with two little strands of hair sticking out at the top. He wears the same type of hoodie with the tree patterned emblem on the front, with his being a pink variation. He also wears midtoned blue jeans, worn cuffed up to expose his ankles, and pinkish-purple slip on shoes. Totty also sometimes wears a light brown beanie, and is often seen carrying a white-cased phone.
