Strawberry Shortcake from Berry Bitty Adventures

Strawberry Shortcake has been a childhood staple since her introduction in the 1980s. Her Berry Bitty line was part of the 2009 relaunch and led not only to new toys and movies but to a whole new look for Strawberry Shortcake and her friends. In this version, Strawberry Shortcake has traded her bonnet for a cap and her dress for a skirt, top, and striped tights.

Most of the costume is easy to put together, but the line was short-lived and finding the hate premade is next to impossible. Thankfully, it is fairly easy to recreate. All you need is a pink newsboy cap, some green paint for the bill, and pink felt dots to cut into ovals for the strawberry seeds. A white ribbon just above the bill of the hat completes the look. As long as you have a glue gun and some extra time you can make your own cap to finish off this look!

Inspector Gadget

Inspector Gadget is creative, heroic, mild-mannered, determined, brave and kindhearted, although he’s also dim-witted, bumbling, gullible, incompetent, clumsy, and clueless. He also has a horrible judge of character and he thinks that the bad guys are his allies and his allies are his enemies.

He loves his niece Penny with all his heart and would do anything to protect her from harm. In fact, whenever he sees Penny in danger, he becomes competent and goes out of his way to rescue her and save the day.

He is generally incompetent and gets on by not only his simple luck, but also Penny and Brain’s unknown assistance. Gadget thwarts Dr. Claw’s daily schemes, often with secret help from Penny and Brain

In the original cartoon, Gadget has straight black hair protruding from both sides, and a large nose. He wears a light-gray Mackintosh raincoat and trilby hat with a lighter-gray stripe in the middle, blue pants, light-gray shoes, and dark brown gloves.

Dennis the Menace

Dennis Mitchell seems like any other cute 5-year-old boy but his neighbor, Mr. Wilson disagrees. He finds Dennis to be a nuisance who’s constantly disturbing him but we all know he secretly misses Dennis when he’s not around.

Captain N

In this Nintendo animated series, Kevin Keene is Captain N, a teenager who must defeat Mother Brain to save Videoland, armed with nothing more than an NES light zapper and controller belt buckle. Good luck with that, kid.

Captain Planet

Captain Planet, he’s our hero. He’s gonna take pollution down to zero. He’s our powers magnified and he’s fighting on the planet’s side. If you don’t mind wearing your underwear on the outside then this costume’s for you.

Penny

Penny is Inspector Gadget’s niece. Through the use of technology and old-fashioned detective work, and with the help of her faithful companion Brain, she bails her bumbling uncle out of his latest jams.

Madeline

Even if you can’t afford to take a trip to France, you can at least look like one of its most fashionable exports. Get into some mischief with a Peter Pan collared dress and a straw hat, and soon enough you’ll feel like you’re traipsing about Paris.
