Sage from Disney’s Star Darlings
Sage (voiced by Libe Barer) is a main protagonist in Disney’s Star Darlings, and a student at Starling Academy studying to be a Wish-Granter. Sage is also a member of the Starling Academy Band, where she plays guitar. Sage is a great costume for anyone who loves glitter and the color purple, as her entire appearance is based around the shade. As with all Starlings, her skin is somewhat sparkly, so don’t skimp on the body glitter for this look.
Sharpay Evans in “Fabulous”
Sharpay Evans (Ashley Tisdale) is a main character in Disney Channel’s High School Musical movies. Often antagonized throughout the series, she is feisty, ambitious, and in charge. Despite participating in theater at East High, she wants to pursue a career in performance, and her big dream is to become a Hollywood star. This is her outfit in the sequel, High School Musical 2, during the song “Fabulous”. With Troy Bolton working at her country club, Sharpay aims to cause a rift in his relationship with Gabriella Montez. But not all is “fabulous” when she discovers Gabriella is the new lifeguard at the pool. Add some sparkle to the coverup and bathing suit with 3 mm rhinestones, which can be applied with Hotfix or E6000.
Lor McQuarrie from The Weekenders
On Disney’s cartoon series The Weekenders, Lor McQuarrie (voiced by Grey Griffin) is considered the jock of her friend group. Lor is best friends with Trish Katsufrakis. Lor is an athlete who excels at soccer and basketball. In keeping with her active life, Lor is often seen wearing loose-fitting jeans and t-shirts with sneakers.
Canon Human Bill Cipher
On a charity stream, Gravity Falls creator Alex Hirsch sketched his headcanon of human Bill Cipher as a grotesque monster with snake eyes and rotten yellow teeth. This shook the fanbase who long depicted human Bill Cipher in their fan art as a svelte and suave human dressed to the nines.
Warden Wrath from The Owl House
Warden Wrath (voiced by Robert Craig Smith) is the head warden of the Conformitorium. As the name implies it is where “unruly” citizens go so that they may learn to conform to the way Warden Wrath thinks things ought to be. He is not someone you want to cross, after all. He can shapeshift and breathe fire, as well as do tremendous damage with his superior strength.
To get his fearsome look you need foundational garments of black scrub pants tucked into heeled boots and a tight-fitting undershirt with a black hood. Over that goes a white “mad scientist” coat belted around the waist with a black leather belt. Then you put in your plague mask and pull the hood up and you’re good to go!
You can take things a step further by getting long grey gloves to cover your hands and arms, the only exposed skin Warden Wrath has. Grey body paint can also help you get the same effect!
Eda Clawthorne from The Owl House
Eda Clawthorne (voiced primarily by Wendie Malick with Dee Bradley Baker voicing Eda’s cursed form) is the rather reckless and trouble-loving mentor in Disney’s The Owl House. She is a powerful witch who ends up teaching a young apprentice almost entirely through accident.
Eda is largely seen in two costumes. And, thanks to her rather voluminous hair, both take a little DIY work. Her main costume is a red halter dress with a ragged edge that cosplayers will have to add in themselves. She also wears tall red boots with this dress and often carries her owl staff. Otherwise Eda is seen in an oversized red sweater, long purple skirt, and bunny slippers when she is lounging in her home.
Human Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls
Gravity Falls – created by Alex Hirsch – is an amazing show. It is one of the most creative series that Disney has aired in a really long time, involving a whole bunch of different spooky and mysterious subjects without getting too scary.
And while the series itself was wildly creative, its fans put their own unique spins on it. One such spin is the idea of Bill Cipher (the series’ main villain who is voiced by Alex Hirsch) as he would appear in human form. Bill’s appearance in the show is only ever that of a flat triangle with a top hat and one eye. But after one fan developed the idea of a human Bill, it took off among other fans until a general appearance was agreed on.
To cosplay as human Bill, you will need a yellow wig, black top hat, black bow tie, yellow vest and coat with tails, a white undershirt, black pants, and black boots. A cane and an eye patch are also good accessories.
The hard part of this costume, however, is the details. Bill’s arms and legs and black in his canonical form and so most fan versions have his arms and legs both black as a human. You can have your coat tailored so that the sleeves are black not yellow and then add gloves. Or you can remove the sleeves entirely and try to find a pair of shoulder-length gloves though they are very hard to find. A little bit of alteration can also put the lines on Bill’s jacket to mimic the bricks of his triangular variation as well as change out the buttons on your shirt for black ones.
Finally, you can use crafting wire to make your top hate float like Bill’s does. One of the wire can be glue to the interior of the hat while the other is attached to your coat collar.
Baljeet from Phineas and Ferb
Baljeet Tjinder is smart and always dreams of being #1. He’s around to see what Phineas and Ferb are up to. Baljeet can be nervous at times, but he still enjoys Phineas and Ferb’s ideas like most of the neighborhood kids. When he’s not checking out the creative mayhem of his neighbors, Baljeet is studying to get top grades.
Ingrid Third from Fillmore!
Keeping the halls of X Middle School in balance, Ingrid Third is a laid back, extremely smart member of the school safety patrol in Fillmore! Her photographic memory comes in handy while solving crimes with her detective partner Fillmore. She says “Crackers” once she grasps major pieces to solving the mysteries of X Middle School. Being a former delinquent, much like Fillmore, Ingrid knows how the minds behind the crimes work.
Luz Noceda from The Owl House
Luz Noceda (voiced by Sarah-Nicole Robles) is the 14 year old main character of Disney’s The Owl House. She enjoys the creepier and odder things in life which alienates her from the kids at school. It makes her perfect for the Owl House, however.
She dresses casually in slip-on white shoes, black leggings, and a pair of cuffed high-waisted shorts. She also wears a white and bluish-purple hoody with cat ears on the hood. Such hoodies aren’t readily available, but fans can achieve the look with Rit dye and a white hoody! Black stud earrings and the Owl staff complete Luz’s look. Just be sure to have a handle ready for the staff, as most Etsy sellers only sell the owl topper.
