Vermeil from Vermeil in Gold
In Vermeil in Gold, Vermeil (voiced by Maaya Uchida & Monica Rial) is a powerful succubus-like demon. She has horns, fangs, pointed ears, and a spade-shaped tail, but she can conceal them at will behind her human form. Vermeil is almost always in a skimpy black dress, but has been known to dress in a school uniform that manages to be even skimpier.
Brother from Akudama Drive
Brother (voiced in Japanese by Maaya Uchida and in English by Daisy Guevara) is one of the key characters in the anime Akudama Drive.
He is one of the two children that the rest of the group get instructed by (the other being Sister) in order to rescue Cutthroat from the public execution and the starter of their journey. He is very protective of Sister and is shocked when he sees how much she changed after being with Swindler for a short while.
Brother has short black hair and red eyes, and his outfit follows the same color scheme. He wears what looks like a school uniform in black with red highlights, a black school hat on top, and he wears knee high red socks with white shoes.
Alluka Zoldyck from Hunter x Hunter
Alluka (voiced in Japanese by Maaya Uchida and in English by Xanthe Huynh) is the second youngest child of the Zoldyck family of assassins, as well as only daughter, in the anime Hunter x Hunter.
She is Killua’s younger sister by a year, and is very close with him, as he’s one of the few people in the world that treats her kindly. The rest of the Zoldycks, including her parents and older brothers, locked her away because they felt she was dangerous, due to the parasite, Nanika, that also occupies her body.
Nanika has the ability to kill or heal, depending on the conditions, and as such, Alluka was locked away underground in the Zoldyck estate to keep her contained.
She has long, choppy purpley-black hair with a headband and hair accessories in the shapes of a variety of different emoticon faces, and soft blue eyes just like Killua’s. Her outfit consists of an outfit akin to a Japanese shrine maiden’s, in pastel colors, and long dark magenta boots.
Hiyori Iki from Noragami
The life of Hiyori Iki (Bryn Apprill / Maaya Uchida) first intertwined with Yato’s and Yukine’s when she unwittingly “saved” Yato from being hit by a passing bus. Now, whenever she falls asleep, her soul can leave her body in the form of a half-Phantom with a pink “lifeline” tail. This state won’t last forever, but Hiyori uses the time she has to defend her supernatural friends from matters going on way over her head.
This costume guide combines elements from two Hiyori outfits: her school dress and her outerwear — the latter of which is much easier to recreate from items you’ll likely find in your own closet.
