Muffy Crosswire
Muffy Crosswire is a character in the PBS Kids show, Arthur. She is Arthur’s classmate in Mr. Ratburn’s third grade class. She is the richest girl in the city and lives in a giant mansion. Due to her wealthy upbringing, she can be spoiled, fussy, and snobbish, prone to throwing tantrums. Yet she can also be confident, sociable, and friendly. Her best friend is Francine.
Buster Baxter from Arthur
Buster Baxter is a character in the PBS Kids show Arthur. He is always jovial – and always hungry. Buster is fascinated by the possibility of intelligent life outside of Earth, ready to share his not-so-supported theories. His best friend is Arthur Read.
Zach from Wild Kratts
In Wild Kratts, Zachary “Zach” Varmitech (voiced by Zachary Bennett) is an arrogant robotics engineer who uses his genius to invent robots called Zachbots to do his bidding. He often clashes with the Kratt Brothers during his plots to turn animals into robots.
Mindy Melendez from Ready Jet Go!
Mindy Melendez (voiced by Jaeda Lily Miller) is the youngest member of the group of friends in Ready Jet Go! A neighbor of Sean and Sydney, despite her young age, Mindy is easily welcomed by the older kids, including alien Jet, even if she’s not quite old enough for space travel at the beginning of the series. Mindy wears a turtleneck sweater and shorts layered over grey leggings. If you want to get a little closer to her hat from the show, you can stitch a pair of blue buttons onto your bear beanie.
Sean Rafferty from Ready Jet Go!
Sean Rafferty (voiced now by Glen Gordon) is a friend of Jet‘s on the PBS Kids show Ready Jet Go! Sean’s father is a scientist and Sean hopes to follow in his footsteps. Sean has a matter-of-fact attitude and unlike Sydney, initially has a hard time using his imagination. Sean has messy brown hair and wears brown sneakers with jeans and a green and white long-sleeved shirt.
Jet Propulsion from Ready Jet Go!
Jet Propulsion (voiced by Ashleigh Ball) is the main character of the PBS Kids show Ready Jet Go! Jet is an alien from the planet Bortron 7 who relocates to Earth with his parents to study its customs. Once they settle in Washington state, Jet befriends Sydney, Sean, and Mindy. Jet has red hair and wears a blue puffy coat with blue pants and grey boots. To make his boots look a little more like they do on the show, you can wrap a red boot lace around them to give them their signature pop of color.
Daniel Tiger
Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood is an animated PBS show that is the spiritual successor to Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. In the show, Daniel Tiger (voiced by Jake Beale) is 4 year old cub who learns to use the potty and manage his emotions, alongside his friends like Katerina. For the costume, note that he wears a fancy wristwatch but no pants. Grr-ific!
Lucita Sky from Hero Elementary
Lucita Sky (voiced by Veronica Hortiguela) is a student at Hero Elementary in the PBS animated series. Lucita’s hero powers include flying, despite her fear of heights. She is also the leader of the Sparks Crew. Lucita’s superhero costume consists of shades of blue and purple, including purple boots and cape, and a blue skirt. The Sparks Crew shirt she wears can be found in some youth sizes through the PBS website, though none are white like she uses for her costume. Instead, you can purchase a plain white shirt and recreate the logo with fabric paint.
Katerina Kittycat
Katerina Kittycat is a character in Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, an animated children’s show based on the land of make-believe from Mister Roger’s Neighborhood. She is the daughter of Henrietta Pussycat as well as one of Daniel Tiger’s best friends. Katerina loves playing dress up and doing ballet.
Matt from Cyberchase
Matt is one of the three main characters of Cyberchase on PBS Kids. He is part of the Cybersquad alongside Inez, Jackie, and Digit. He is an eleven year old boy who lives on Earth. His interests include sports and Greek mythology. His red backpack contains helpful objects to go into the technological Cyberspace.
