Alberto Scorfano
Alberto Scorfano is a character in the Disney Pixar movie, Luca. In the water, he is a blue and purple sea monster. He frequently visits the surface as a human boy. He encourages Luca to explore land and acts as a guide. Contrastingly to Luca, Alberto is daring and overzealous. His goal is to ride a real Vespa, which happens to be the prize in the Portorosso Cup. Despite claiming he’s an expert on humans, he isn’t always correct. For instance, he thinks “What’s wrong with you, stupido?” is a greeting.
Massimo Marcovaldo
Massimo Marcovaldo is a character in the Disney Pixar movie, Luca. He is a fisherman who sells fish door to door in Portorosso. In spite of his intimidating stature and skill with a knife, he is a caring man. His soft heart particularly extends to his daughter, Giulia. He takes Luca and Alberto into his home and shows them similar affection for befriending his child. The Marcovaldo family cat on his shoulder is named Machiavelli.
Luca Paguro
Luca Paguro is the titular protagonist of the Disney Pixar movie, Luca. In the water, he is a green and blue sea monster who lives with overprotective parents. He stumbles upon human treasures and grows curious about the surface. Another sea monster named Alberto finally pushes him on land, where they both resemble human boys. On the Italian coast, they meet Guilia, a human girl who wants to win the Portorosso cup. Bright and inventive, Luca longs to go to school with her so he can learn about the world. Whenever he gets nervous or fearful, he exclaims “Silenzio Bruno!”

Bunny and Ducky from Toy Story 4
Bunny and Ducky are new characters in Disney Pixar’s Toy Story 4. These eccentric, quick-witted toys are voiced by comedic duo Key and Peele, with Keegan Michael Key as the voice of Ducky and Jordan Peele as the voice of Bunny. Aside from being best friends, they’re literally attached at the plush foot. Dangling as prize toys at a carnival booth, Bunny and Ducky long to have a kid as their owner. When Buzz Lightyear gets tacked to the prize wall, they catch wind of his mention of a kid. They manage to escape and tackle Buzz until Woody intervenes. As a result, Bunny and Ducky become their allies in their quest to save Forky with the hope of finding a home with Bonnie. This costume guide features casual costumes as well as onesies for a simpler option. If you intend on dressing as Ducky, we included acrylic paint for the beak.
Queen Elinor from Brave
Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson) is a main character in the 2012 Disney Pixar animated movie, Brave. She shares the throne with her husband, King Fergus, as the monarchs of DunBroch, a Scottish kingdom. Whereas her daughter Merida is independent and free-spirited, her mother is the epitome of sternness, poise, and tradition. So when her daughter wants to shoot for her own hand, Elinor is outraged, as she believes it’s her duty as a princess to continue the royal line. She throws the bow into the fireplace out of anger, and Merida runs off crying. When she returns, she gives her mother a cake as a peace offering, but it accidentally turns her into a giant black bear! Together they try to break the curse, and ultimately Elinor softens towards her daughter, becoming more thoughtful and understanding.
Stinky Pete from Toy Story 2
Stinky Pete (voiced by Kelsey Grammer) is Woody’s complete opposite. He can’t stand children, was never loved or played with, and (at least for a time) finds life with children unbearable. He comes around eventually. But not before making life hard for everyone’s favorite cowboy-spaceman duo. And their friends.
Pete’s costume comes together pretty quickly but there are a few key bits you’ll have to factor in before you buy the pieces. Stinky Pete is a larger older man which might mean ordering a larger size than you normally wear. But if you skip a stomach cushion and order clothes to your usual size, you can still get Pete’s look while holding onto the pieces for another costume.
The costume also works best with a costume pickaxe. But as with most costume weapons, check your convention’s rules before you take it on the floor. If you’re wearing this costume to a private party you’re probably fine.
Once you’ve got all that sorted, you’ve only got a few costume pieces to buy. A prospector’s hat, a red button down work shirt, a pair of blue denim coveralls, and a yellow neckerchief. You’ll also need a pair of black boots. Western boots are very expensive, however, so I’ve listed an alternative that will work fine with the pants are worn over the top of the boots.
Finally you’ll want a fake white beard with thick white brows. You might have to trim the hairs a bit to avoid being tickled. But with the beard and brows in place and your costume on, you’ll be the most feared prospector in the toy box!
Riley Andersen from Inside Out
Riley Andersen (voiced by Kaitlyn Dias) is a main character in the Disney/Pixar film Inside Out. Much of the action of the film takes place inside of Riley’s brain as Joy, Anger, Fear, Sadness, and Disgust work together to help her adjust to her life in a new home. Riley’s costuming often reflects her moods, but her yellow jacket and blue backpack are two of her most well recognized accessories. Riley is also a fan of ice hockey, and eventually becomes a member of the Fog Horns, a youth team in San Francisco.
Bing Bong
“Who’s your friend that likes to play?” In the Pixar movie Inside Out, Bing Bong (voiced by Richard Kind) is Riley’s imaginary friend who resembles a pink, fuzzy elephant. Riley created him when she was three years old to cope with her childhood. Cheerful yet naive, he cries candy and squeals like a dolphin. Bing Bong makes the ultimate sacrifice after helping Joy blast out of the Memory Dump, causing him to permanently fade from Riley’s memories.
Captain B. McCrea from Wall-E
In Wall-E, Captain B. McCrea (voiced by Jeff Garlin) is the captain and commander of the starliner Axiom. Like the rest of humanity’s survivors on board, he’s become extremely obese and is now confined to a hoverchair, leaving management of his ship to the computer Auto. The captain teams up with Wall-E and Eve to wrest control from the evil Auto, before piloting the ship back to Earth.
