Mary Jane Watson
Mary Jane Watson, or MJ, is a character in the Spiderman franchise. She is a former Broadway actress and jazz singer. Sweet, energetic, and beautiful, she is the primary love interest of Peter Parker. She returns his feelings and they eventually become a couple. Kirsten Dunst portrays this role in the 2002 movie directed by Sam Raimi and starring Tobey MacGuire as the titular superhero.
Sandman from Spider-Man 3
Thomas Haden Church is no stranger to playing the bad guy. His iconic George of the Jungle role is proof enough of that. But his turn as Flint Marko (also known as Sandman) in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3 was definitely one of the highlights of the film. It introduced a whole new generation to the character and made him a fan favorite villain for people everywhere.
Flint’s cosplay is easy to pull together and, depending on your other characters, the pieces can serve in a variety of other costumes. The most difficult part is his shirt. Finding striped shirts in the right shade is a little tricky so you will be better off making your own. Start with a medium green t-shirt and add in the stripes using either black dye or black fabric paint. After that all you need is a brown belt, brown shoes, and a pair of olive cargo pants.
Green Goblin (Norman Osborn)
Norman Osborn, otherwise known as the villain, Green Goblin, is the main antagonist in the Spider Man series. Portrayed by Willem Dafoe in the Raimi Spider-Man trilogy, Norman Osborn is a capable businessman with a murderous alter ego that manifests itself in the Green Goblin. Since, no commercial costume exists for the film’s rubber suit, save for the mask, you’ll need to get creative with some generic costume armor and metallic green spray paint.
Ash from Evil Dead
In the Evil Dead, Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) must face off against his loved ones as they’re possessed by evil souls of the dead called deadites. To defeat them, he arms himself, quite literally, with a chainsaw and a sawed off shotty.
Darkman
After running afoul of a local mobster, Dr. Peyton Westlake (Liam Neeson) is burned and disfigured. As luck would have it, his research is on synthetic skin for burn victims. Only drawback? It disintegrates when subject to light. He sensibly seeks his revenge in the dark, going by the name Darkman.
