Ash from Evil Dead

In the Evil Dead, Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) must face off against his loved ones as they're possessed by evil souls of the dead called deadites. To defeat them, he arms himself, quite literally, with a chainsaw and a sawed off shotty.

In Zombieland, Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) is a survivor of the “mad person disease” epidemic who is especially violent in killing zombies. His real name is unknown, as survivors refer to each other only by their hometowns in this apocalyptic world.
Michonne roams the wasteland wielding a katana and two jawless zombies. But in a world where the slightest noise will attract hordes of walking dead, her greatest strength may be the lack of lines given to her in the script.
