Jody Mills from Supernatural
Jody Mills (played by Kim Rhodes) is an important character on Supernatural. Jody is originally introduced in season 5 as the Sheriff of Sioux Falls, South Dakota when her town is overtaken by reanimated loved ones, including her son. Over time, Jody becomes an accomplished hunter and even takes in Claire and Alex. When not in her tan sheriff’s uniform, Jody tends to wear jeans and plaid shirts layered against the unruly Sioux Falls weather.
Sheriff Bart
In Blazing Saddles, Bart (Cleavon Little) is a railroad worker who is about to be hanged, when he is appointed to become sheriff of a frontier town. As a black sheriff in the Old West, Bart faces hostility from the townspeople, but gets by with the help of his quick wits and the Waco Kid.
Jack Carter
Sheriff Jack Carter randomly came across Eureka, a town of brainiacs, and couldn’t help but stay a lifetime. When he’s not chasing down a floating car or fighting off a rogue missile, Sheriff Carter can be found sipping coffee at Cafe Diem or in his talking house. Typical days for Sheriff Carter are anything but typical!

In The Walking Dead, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) is the deputy sheriff of King’s County, Georgia when it becomes overrun with zombies. He leads a small group of survivors, but becomes a bit unhinged when his wife Lori is killed.
