Bowser from Super Mario Bros.

Bowser is the head honcho, the King Koopa, the guy who keeps stealing Mario’s princess and putting her in another castle. He’s had thirteen voice actors over the years in two languages alone. And that’s not even going into his live action appearances. He’s mean, he’s nasty, and he’s always ready to take on Mario!

The easiest way to get a King’s look is to start with the base costume set pictured above. It will give you Bowser’s body design and is a great jumping-off point. The costume does come with an inflatable shell but it’s very small. A larger one is also listed here for those who want to upgrade. A pair of yellow clawed slippers finishes off the clothing while face paint in either yellow or pink can help your face blend in a little more with the Bowser mask.

Toad

Toads are the inhabitants of the Mushroom Kingdom and Princess Peach’s loyal subjects. They are generally cheerful and helpful, providing Mario with hints and other information throughout his adventures.

Princess Daisy

Princess Daisy is the princess of the faraway lands of Sarasaland. Rumored to be Luigi’s love interest, she is one of the Mushroom Kingdom gang and participates with them regularly in sports and go-karting.

Princess Peach

Always the damsel-in-distress, Princess Peach has a pretty standard style as far as royalty is concerned. Extremely feminine and sweet, her look is also easy to recreate. All you need is a pink prom dress and long white gloves. Top the look off with a tiara and you are sure to attract your own Italian plumber in no time.

Waluigi

Waluigi is a more devilish version of Luigi, who first made his appearance in Mario Tennis. Along with his counterpart, Wario, the two try to make things difficult for the Mario Bros.

Luigi

Luigi is Mario’s green-clad twin brother. Though Luigi is taller and thinner, he possesses the same exact skills and powers as his more popular brother.

Wario

Wario is an exaggerated and more malicious appearing version of Mario. Even his name is derived from a combination of Mario’s name and the Japanese word for bad, warui. His outfit is also very similar to Mario’s but just in a different color combination.

Mario

It’s a me, Mario! Mario is a plump, Italian plumber who’s quest is to save Princess Peach from Bowser. Along the way he’s collected several powers such as throwing fire and ice balls, flying, and becoming invincible. He’s also collected a number of fashionable outfits including a frog suit, a tanooki suit, and a penguin suit.
