Beat (voiced in Japanese by Subaru Kimura and in English by Crawford Wilson [games]/Van Barr Jr.[anime]) is one of the main characters in The World Ends With You's anime and game series.

He is the third person that Neku partners with during the Reaper's Game, and Rhyme's older brother. While he is very quick to have combative reactions, he is actually very caring about the people that matter to him.

Beat has light blonde hair that he wears pulled back under a loose dark grey beanie with an enormous skull motif on the front, and blue eyes. He wears two tanktops stacked on each other, a tighter fitting reddish orange one, and a looser white one over top, and muted goldish-yellow capri-like pants with a huge decorative silver chain hanging from his waist. The look is finished off with grey ribbed socks rolled around his ankles, black and red high top sneakers, a silver studded black wristband, and a dark grey chain necklace with a huge skull charm hanging from the end.
