At Joe Biden’s inauguration after defeating Donald Trump in the presidential election, Bernie Sanders, the firebrand from Vermont, was spotted in attendance. What made Bernie stand out was his choice of clothing for the formal occasion. Granted the Burton winter parka and wool mittens made from recycled plastic bottles were both practical for the chilly January weather and on brand for the conscientious politician. But the image of the seated Senator quickly went viral, right on the heels of his “I am once again asking” meme.

Like the rest of humanity’s survivors on board, he’s become extremely obese and is now confined to a hoverchair, leaving management of his ship to the computer Auto. The captain teams up with Wall-E and Eve to wrest control from the evil Auto, before piloting the ship back to Earth.

In The Walking Dead, Alpha (Samantha Morton) is the leader of the Whisperers and the mother of Lydia. She’s known to be highly intelligent, cunning, and ruthless, taking sadistic pleasure in slaughtering anyone who challenges her authority. Her real name and past unknown, Alpha has completely shed her identity from before the outbreak, embracing herself just as a survivor of the post-apocalypse.
