Maki Harukawa is a character in the anime Danganronpa. They are a student in Hope Peak Academy's Class 78th and a participant in the Killing School Life featured in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. Their title is Ultimate Programmer. Their secret is even though they were born a boy, they dress as a girl. But this secret isn't shameful, and Chihiro finds the confidence to admit it. After their death, it's discovered that Chihiro developed an AI program named Alter Ego to decrypt files about the academy. Alter Ego used Chihiro as an avatar to communicate with the other students.
