Molly from Lumberjanes
Molly is one of the main characters of the comic series Lumberjanes. Molly is a skilled archer who also enjoys knitting, mythology, and puzzles. Bubbles, the raccoon that sleeps on Molly’s head is a friend she made the first day of camp. Molly is Mal’s girlfriend, and their personalities often offset one another. Molly wears cargo shorts and a two-tone green shirt and styles her blonde hair in a braid. Rather than have a wild animal sleep on your head, a raccoon cap can achieve a similar effect.
Sinestro from Green Lantern
Thaal Sinestro (played by Mark Strong) is a member of the Green Lantern Corps. And when Hal Jordan joins the Corp, Sinestro becomes his mentor. Not that he’s happy about it, of course. And though he saves Hal in the end, Sinestro’s fate isn’t exactly a happy one.
The hardest part of Sinestro’s costume is his non-human appearance. You can either use black hair spray and then slick your hair back with pomade or you can use a bald cap and black body paint to recreate his hair line. In either case you’ll also want a pair of pointy ears and red body paint, as well as a fake mustache.
With that part covered you’ll want to get a bodysuit and the Green Lantern Corps ring next. Then you can finish off the look with green gloves and green boot covers.
Omni-Man
Nolan Grayson, aka Omni-Man, is a main character in the comic book and animated series, Invincible. He comes from the planet Viltrum, and his kind uses their super abilities to protect other planets. He trains his son on how to harness his inherited powers and become a hero like him under the moniker Invincible. However, after he murders the Guardians of the Globe, the audience realizes he’s up to something more sinister. J.K. Simmons voices Omni-Man in the animated series, which is a perfect casting choice given his appearance as J. Jonah Jameson in the Spiderman movies.
