In CW’s The Flash, Goldface (Damion Poitier) is a more grounded version of the comic book counterpart. While he can still turn any part of his body into organic gold, making him nearly invulnerable, he’s no longer equipped with a golden spacesuit. Instead, he dresses in all black and sporting a massive gold chain necklace that he uses as a weapon on occasion.

In The Umbrella Academy, Vanya Hargreeves (Ellen Page), aka Number Seven, is best known as the White Violin. She is a meek violinist who has no interest in the academy and is alienated from her siblings. It turns out she has the most powerful ability of all, which has long been suppressed by her father Reginald with the help of drugs.

In The Umbrella Academy, Grace Hargreeves (Jordan Claire Robbins), better known as Mom, is the adoptive mother of the Umbrella Academy kids. She is actually a robot built by Reginald after Vanya kept killing their nannies using her powers.

In The Umbrella Academy, Diego Hargreeves (David Castañeda) is Number Two. The rebellious troublemaker of the family, he has the power to hold his breath and control the trajectory of any object he throws, with knives being his weapon of choice.

In The Umbrella Academy, Number Five (Aidan Gallagher) is a boy who has the ability to jump through space and time. But there are consequences to his time-traveling, including that it messes with the rate at which he ages. After jumping to the post-apocalyptic future, he returns to the present to change the world’s fate. For the costume, it’s best to sew the red trim to the blazer hem and pockets, but fabric glue would work in a pinch.

In The Umbrella Academy, Luther Hargreeves (Tom Hopper) is Number One, an astronaut with super strength. He is very loyal to his father and the only sibling to never leave the team. After he was severely injured during a mission, he was injected with a serum that turned his upper body into that of an ape. Wear a muscle suit or add your own padding to create the necessary bulk.

In The Umbrella Academy, Klaus Hargreaves (Robert Sheehan) is Number Four. The Séance is a flamboyant drug addict who possesses the ability to communicate with the dead, including the deceased Number Six.

In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Peni Parker is a Japanese-American student who pilots a mech suit called SP//dr through a psychic link with a radioactive spider. For this costume, you’ll have to be a bit crafty, attached the pink ribbon along the v-neck of the sweater. Add a cat face and yellow cat ears to your backpack for extra credit points.
