Jacobim Mugatu
When he isn’t designing clothing like the piano key tie, Jacobim Mugatu is turning fashion models into assassins. While we don’t advise you to plot the deaths of world leaders, you can practice your fashion design skills by recreating Mugatu’s trademark sweater. Who knows, maybe you’ll find yourself designing the next “Derelicte.”
Derek Zoolander
Derek Zoolander isn’t the smartest crayon in the box but who needs brains when you have looks? When he’s not strutting his stuff on the catwalk, the fashion model is usually wearing solid colored designer suits. This may seem like an easy style to recreate but if you haven’t mastered the Blue Steel then you’re just another guy in a suit. You better start practicing.
Hansel McDonald
Male model Hansel McDonald gave Derek Zoolander a run for his money when he strutted into the fashion world in his fringed leather jacket. Part ’70’s hippie and part California surfer dude, Hansel’s look can easily be recreated. It’s removing your underwear while still wearing pants that may be a challenge.
Shaun of the Dead
Shaun of the Dead stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as a pair of directionless guys who find themselves in a zombie uprising. They’re surrounded by zombies, but don’t realize what’s happening until they turn on the TV. Without much preparation, they’ll have to improvise for their zombie defenses.
Donny “The Bear Jew” Donowitz
In Inglourious Basterds, Eli Roth plays Sergeant Donny Donowitz. He’s earned the nickname The Bear Jew, feared by the Nazis to an almost mythical level. He’s packed a baseball bat all the way from Boston as his personal weapon of choice.
Rambo
Rambo, first name John, is an action hero played by Sylvester Stallone. At first a sympathetic war vet who has trouble integrating back into society, Rambo becomes more and more comical as the sequels pile up. For this costume, we’ll supply the muscles, you supply the blood, sweat, and tears.
Indiana Jones
Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) is a college professor of archaeology who would rather go on an adventure than lecture. He’s known for making good use of his bullwhip, although he’s not afraid to use his gun when the situation calls for it. In fact, the only thing he seems to be afraid of are snakes.
Short Round
Kennon Wong, nicknamed Short Round (Jonathan Ke Quan), has been through a lot. He’s an orphan from the Second Sino-Japanese War, he earns a living as an 11-year-old driving a taxicab in Shanghai, and he assists Indiana Jones on his mission. But his unique nickname has nothing to do with any of these — Short Round is named after the screenwriters’ pet dog.
Carmen Sandiego
Carmen Sandiego is a world-class cat thief and head of the criminal organization VILE. She’s able to elude the ACME detective agency as they chase her all over the globe, and teach kids some geography along the way. Unfortunately she rarely stays in San Diego — that would make things too obvious.
