Kendra Young (Bianca Lawson) was another Slayer in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Originally from Jamaica, she was activated as the next Slayer when Buffy dies briefly. In season 2, her Watcher sent her to Sunnydale to investigate a dark power. There, she met Buffy. Knowledgable yet stoic, Kendra was her opposite, in which she fully dedicated herself to the Slayer training and identity. Eventually they warmed up to each other and Kendra returned to help the gang. Sadly, Buffy fell for Angelus' trap, allowing Drusilla to kill Kendra. Fun fact: She called her stake "Mr. Pointy."
