Her character set off the rest of the series that would often replace the main female protagonist in each sequel. Everyone overlooks her continuously flirting with her friend’s Father, and instead becomes entranced by her beauty and charisma.

Norman Osborn, otherwise known as the villain, Green Goblin, is the main antagonist in the Spider Man series. Portrayed by Willem Dafoe in the Raimi Spider-Man trilogy, Norman Osborn is a capable businessman with a murderous alter ego that manifests itself in the Green Goblin. Since, no commercial costume exists for the film’s rubber suit, save for the mask, you’ll need to get creative with some generic costume armor and metallic green spray paint.

She is a young blonde sweet teenage girl who loves horror slasher films and is dramatically yet ironically killed in the exact fashion. Mal

Existing only as a figment of her husband’s memory in the film Inception, Mal (Marion Cotillard) is nevertheless an extremely powerful and often damaging presence. She and her husband, Dominic Cobb, excelled in the manipulation of people’s minds. Unfortunately, they pushed the limits of their abilities too far and Mal lost the ability to differentiate between reality and dreams. This guide is for her pivotal windowsill gown, a deep purple dress with heels.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992 Film)

Buffy (Kristy Swanson) is a blonde valley girl who only cares about fashion, cheerleading, gymnastics, and sometimes boys. She possesses brilliant architectural design abilities, creating the subconscious maps through which the team navigates in the movie Inception. Ariadne is also the only one who calls out Dominic on his erratic mental state that could endanger the entire team. She dresses like a normal college student, but with an extra fashionable French flair.

James Bond

James Bond, code-named 007, is the dashing MI-6 hero of over 20 films, books and video games starting with Dr. No in 1962. Since then the actors playing Bond have changed, the enemies have switched geographical locations and the gadgets have become wickedly high-tech, but Bond’s go-to outfit remains the same: a snazzy black tuxedo and trusty Walther PPK. Finish off the look of this charming, rakish lady-lover with a big watch, hair gel and a martini – shaken, not stirred.

Dominic Cobb

Dominic Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) from the movie Inception is a skilled Extractor – someone who slips into peoples’ dreams, steals their secrets and sells them to competitors. He used to extract legally, but now he is a fugitive wanted for his wife Mal’s murder. Despite his fugitive status, a company hires him to perform an inception, or the placement of an idea into a person’s mind. He agrees, but he and his team must battle both inner and outer demons to succeed. He dresses well in trousers, button-downs and leather jackets, his trusty spinning top always in his pocket.

Boogie the Oily

Boogie the Oily One

Boogie the Oily is a tall, blond and muscled killer with no restraints. He appears in an Argentinean comic strip that parodies violence, sexism, and racism, comedically based on the character Dirty Harry.

Marvel's Hela

Hela from Thor: Ragnarok

Not to be confused for the Norse Hel, Marvel’s Hela is a woman all her own. Played by Cate Blanchett she is the goddess of death, Odin’s former executioner and the oldest child he kept secret from both Thor and Loki. His death released her from her exile and triggered Ragnarok, the destruction of Asgard. Her arrival costs Thor his hammer, the Asgardians their home, and Hela her own life. Despite her end, she is still considered one of Marvel’s most dynamic villains.

The focal point of Hela’s look is the bodysuit and cape. It’s iconic and hard to recreate, which makes it lucky that there is a premade version on Amazon. Black boots and a black wig finish the core of the costume. Black nail polish, black eye shadow, and her iconic swords are the final touches you’ll need before you’re ready to rock a world of your own.

April 2021 Update: A big thank you to the commenters for their discussion that led to a costume update.
