Music

Deadmau5

Deadmau5 is a house music DJ known for his mouse helmets. His identity originates from high school, when his computer fried a mouse that had gotten inside of it. Seems as good a reason as any for dressing up as a giant mouse.

Macklemore

Rapper Macklemore has an interesting fashion sense, favoring a mohawk, furs, and gold in his music video for Thrift Shop. But if you really want to replicate his look, head to the nearest Goodwil and wear whatever you get with the twenty dollars in your pocket.

Ninja from Die Antwoord

Ninja is one half of the South African rap-rave group Die Antwoord. Together with Yolandi Visser, they mix modern with outdated in both their music and their fashion, to create their own… unique style.

Yolandi Visser from Die Antwoord

Yolandi Visser, aka Yo-Landi Vi$$er, fronts the South African rap group Die Antwoord with Ninja. Don’t be fooled by the pink and ponytail – her style is equal parts cute and nightmare fuel.

Joan Jett

Joan Jett is a punk singer and guitarist best known for fronting the Blackhearts on hit songs like “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll” and “Bad Reputation”. She was recently impersonated in The Runaways by Kristen Stewart. Think you can do better?

Iggy Pop

As singer, songwriter, and frontman for the Stooges, Iggy Pop is considered the godfather of punk rock. His trademark style is flowing locks, sinewy chest, and ultra-skinny jeans. He came into this world shirtless, and he’s gonna stay shirtless.

Slash

Slash has earned his title as one of the best guitar players in history — making it on several “Best of” lists in recent years for his riffs and solos. If there was a “Most Consistent Style” list he would easily rank in the top five. His look hasn’t changed much since his Guns n’ Roses days but hey, if you find something that works, why change it?

Axl Rose

Let’s take a minute to remember how cool Axl Rose looked before fame ruined his fashion sense. Let’s return to the days when his cockiness was cool and wearing American flag spandex was awesome. If only we could freeze time for you, Axl.

Lana Del Rey

‘Born to Die’ is a dramatic ballad and popular single by singer/songwriter, Lana Del Rey. A memorable image from the music video is set in a beautiful Romanian castle with a pair of majestic tigers. Dress like the Lonely Queen with a white sheath gown and a luscious crown of flowers.

Skrillex

Sonny John Moore, aka Skrillex, is a music producer and dubstep DJ. He’s known for his sick drops and sicker haircut. You can fake it till you make it with this wig, stick-on piercings, faux plug earrings, and Fisher Price turntable.
