The internet has brought back their popularity over the past years, realizing the how great the fashion these dolls have and one of these that have been trending recently, are the historic line of the American Girl Dolls. American Girl Dolls were very popular in the early 2000s. They came with books of their stories and each are from different time periods.
In this I’ll be covering how you can create a costume after the doll Julie. Julie is one of the iconic dolls from the line and her story is one that takes place in the 1970s. To dress like Julie in one of her outfits, wear a space-dye long sleeve multicolor shirt under a white short-sleeve blouse with blue embroidery. Pair this with a brown braided belt at your waist and blue color-block flare jeans. Another version is a white tank top with a floral peace-sign graphic and a yellow crochet vest. Braid a small section on one side of your hair at the front and you can also wear a purple crochet cap as you might have seen her wearing before.

Another where she is actually in class is a light blue leotard, ballet tights, ballet slippers, a pink ballet skirt, and a light blue sheer shrug. To create the one-legged tall leg warmer, take gray knitted leggings and cut one leg on the top, then wear on one leg.

Juliet from the 1996 Baz Luhrmann film Romeo and Juliet, is played by Claire Danes. This films follows the classic Shakespearean story Romeo and Juliet, but instead features two rival gangs and an arranged marriage. Romeo and Juliet in this version, meet at a costume ball.
One of the most iconic looks from this movie is the angel costume Juliet wears to the costume ball. To recreate this costume, wear a sleeveless, scoop neck maxi dress, white shoes, a silver cross necklace, and white angel wings.

Jim Carrey plays the protagonist, Joel Barish, in the early 2000s romance fantasy/sci-fi film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Alongside his love interest, Clementine, we follow him through the story of their breakup. Clementine has a procedure to forget the relationship and Joel then decides to have the same one.
This would make a great couples costume for film lovers. To dress like Joel, wear a white shirt under a green sweater, paired with a black coat and green knit beanie.
Princess Loolilalu from The Amazing Digital Circus
Princess Loolilialu is a character in the Youtube miniseries The Amazing Digital Circus, created by Gooseworx and produced by GLITCH. She is the courteous, kind-hearted princess of the candy kingdom as seen in episode two: Candy Carrier Chaos! She appears to be a humanoid made of candy, with a lollipop body and candied fruit slices for hair. A Princess Peach dress is a good base for this costume, just add the fake sprinkles with hot glue and do some piping along the skirt. Paint the orange slice with the hot pink acrylic paint and affix it to the hairline of the wig. For the makeup, paint your face with the light orange paint and draw a swirl in the center with the darker orange.

Andy Kaufman is portrayed by Nicolas Braun in the new film Saturday Night. The film chronicles the chaotic moments of the first Saturday Night Live cast as they prepare for the very first broadcast. This is the first major portrayal of Kaufman since Jim Carrey’s legendary performance for Man on the Moon.
To dress like Andy Kaufman in the film, start with a black turtleneck tucked into a pair of white bootcut/ flare pants. Over the turtleneck, also tuck in a light blue button down. Over this wear a tan plaid blazer and pair with white canvas sneakers with black socks.

To dress like Darren in a more casual look, wear a striped navy shirt, red bandana, and canvas bucket hat. For the unique suit look, wear a two-piece, double breasted tan suit, white vintage style shoes, a white pinstriped shirt, maroon printed tie, and headphones. For the spots of blood on the unit, use red fabric paint.
