Pink shorts, blue rain boots, a dark blue cape, and a pet budgie are the easy-to-gather parts of the costume. A red wig will replicate her hair but it will have to be styled in a bun that sits at the back of the head. Her shirt is where the DIY really comes in though. The chest of Kelsey’s shirt is taken up by a large, pale heart….

…In Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Sam Sparks gets the opportunity of a lifetime when she gets to report about the unusual and tasty weather in Swallow Falls. Sam hides how smart she really is but after meeting Flint she realizes that it’s okay to be yourself, even if it’s a bit nerdy….

…In Hey Arnold!, Stinky Peterson is one of Arnold’s classmates and a bit of a social pariah. Despite living in the city, he hails from a “country” family and his accent reflects this. Despite this, Stinky refuses to be a stereotype and is actually quite intelligent, while also maintaining a high level of personal integrity….

…In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Peni Parker is a Japanese-American student who pilots a mech suit called SP//dr through a psychic link with a radioactive spider. For this costume, you’ll have to be a bit crafty, attached the pink ribbon along the v-neck of the sweater. Add a cat face and yellow cat ears to your backpack for extra credit points….

…A gym leader who trains only the cutest of Normal-type Pokemon, Whitney (Yuko Miyamura / Megan Hollingshead) is a rather unorthodox trainer. She’s young, sensitive, and admittedly a bit immature, but her Miltank is a force to be reckoned with. If you defeat her, she will give you the Plain Badge…but only after crying about it….

…e that is bound to do the will of SCP-049. Although SCP-049 is itself largely unknowable – since getting too close can turn you into an undead puppet – dressing up as SCP-049 is relatively easy. All you need is a black hooded cloak or robe, a grey plague doctor mask, black boots, and black gloves. It helps if you make the sleeves of the robe a bit tattered and if you wear black clothing underneath so it seems as if there is nothing under the robe…

…ates. You can make your own by taking the chocolates (still in their paper cups) out of a standard box of chocolates and putting them into an enamel hinge-top box. It’s a bit bulky for an accessory but every Matilda fan will know immediately why Miss Trunchbull would keep the box close!…

…u would like to close it. You can style them like buttons down the cardigan. I suggest using at least 3. Marla has her’s buttoned from top to bottom with bottom part open. Finally, finish putting on the rest of the outfit and apply lip gloss. This costume works well for either Halloween or cosplay events….

…ying to behold. Getting the exact look takes some painting skill and possibly wearable pyrotechnics (which we really don’t recommend). But we’ve found pieces that will get you close! To start you’ll want a black compression shirt and compression pants. They’re tight fitting and breathable so your clothes won’t get twisted up under your armor and you won’t overheat too quickly. On top of that you’ll want a set of knight’s armor, though we recommend…

…leggings and black shoes. Of course no cosplay of Abby would be complete without her long auburn ponytail and a little bit of slime!…
