Lady Vengeance

In Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, Lee Geum-Ja (Lee Young-Ae) is released from prison after serving 13 years for a murder she didn’t commit. She cuts off her pinky as contrition for her role in the kidnapping, then starts her meticulously planned revenge on the true murderer.

300

300 shows a slightly dramatized account of the Battle of Thermopylae, where Spartan King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) clashed with Persian King Xerxes. The vastly outnumbered Spartans make a valiant stand, but I can’t help wonder how they’d have done with some armor, or a shirt, on.

Freddy Krueger

Freddy Krueger may know when you’re sleeping and when you’re awake but he’s no Santa Claus. With biting wit, he manipulates his victim’s dreams making everyone afraid to fall asleep. While Freddy’s powers are not easy to obtain, you can get his look with little effort. The hardest part is the make-up and if you really want to be authentic you can put burn holes in your clothes. That’s really the only way you’ll get away with wearing a Christmas sweater all year.

The Rocketeer

In 1930s Los Angeles, stunt pilot Cliff Secord (Billy Campbell) stumbles upon a rocket pack designed by Howard Hughes. He uses it during a show and becomes a media sensation as The Rocketeer. The fame doesn’t help though when the mob is willing to kill to get the rocket pack back for a Nazi secret agent.

Jenny Blake from The Rocketeer

In The Rocketeer, Jenny Blake is an aspiring actress whose relationship hits the rocks when her boyfriend Cliff’s visit to the movie set leads to her getting fired. The movie director makes up with Jenny and attempts to seduce her — but not to date Jennifer Connelly. No, to get his hands on a jet pack.

Glenn Quagmire

Glenn Quagmire is one of Peter Griffin’s close friends in Family Guy. He’s an airline pilot during the day and a sleazy sex hound with questionable morals at night. Giggity giggity goo.

Jigsaw

In Saw, John Kramer is a civil engineer dying from an inoperable brain tumor who decides to help others appreciate the value of life. Instead of giving them a pep talk however, he builds complex torture devices that they can only escape through self-sacrifice. Typical engineer.

Mary Poppins

Flying with an umbrella, solving aches with spoonfuls of sugar, and dancing with penguins. It could only be the one and only Mary Poppins. Our favorite nanny isn’t just cool, she’s got amazing style and finesse too.

Bert from Mary Poppins

Bert, who’s played by Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins, is a jack-of-all-trades. He’s a chimney sweep, a one-man band, and a screeve. Not only can he hold down multiple jobs but he can also dance with the best of them including penguins and fellow chimney sweepers on the rooftops of London.

Marcel Marceau

Marcel Marceau is one of the best known mimes in the world, who became famous through his persona Bip the Clown. Though he kept things simple with his black and white attire and color coordinated makeup, he liked to accessorize with a top hat embellished with a red flower.
