In the DC Extended Universe film Shazam, Billy Batson (Zachary Levi) is a troubled teenaged boy who is chosen as the "Champion of Eternity" by the ancient wizard Shazam. With this, he is able to transform into an adult with superpowers when he calls the sorcerer's name, "Shazam!"
