Snoop Dogg from Super Bowl LVI Half-Time Show
For the Super Bowl LVI half-time show, Snoop Dogg took the stage alongside other hip-hop icons like Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar. The all-time rapper’s delivery was smooth as ever, performing “Drop It Like It’s Hot”. Snoop dressed in a blue and yellow tracksuit — a nod to his Los Angeles allegiance — accessorized with gold frames, gold chains, and a gold mic.
Freakazoid
Freakazoid is the title character of the mid-90s Kids WB animated series of the same name and a co-production between the crews that created Kids WB’s two more successful series Batman (Bruce Timm and Paul Dini) and Animaniacs (Tom Reugger and Steven Spielberg). Though its run was short, it proved to be a cult classic that still endures to this day, thanks to its mix of absurd humor and references to pop culture and (then) current events.
The title character is a wacky superhero who is the alter-ego of teenage nerd Dexter Douglas. While surfing the internet, Dexter has an accident (partly thanks to the high-tech chip he gets for Christmas and his cat walking on the keyboard) and whenever he says “Freak Out!” he transforms into the blue-skinned hero.
Clint Barton from Hawkeye
Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) is a main character in the new Marvel series, Hawkeye, streaming on Disney+. When the Avenger finds his murderous past as Ronin coming to haunt him, a trip to New York during Christmas turns into confronting old enemies. Reluctantly partnering up with Kate Bishop, another master archer, he plans to take down the tracksuit mafia once and for all. However, it’s all bigger than they imagined, for the head of the operation is revealed to be none other than Kingpin. The show introduced Clint’s deafness from the comic with a hearing aid.
Emperor Kuzco
Emperor Kuzco (voiced by David Spade) is the protagonist of the animated Disney film, Emperor’s New Groove and its television spin-off, The Emperor’s New School. Kuzco is the teenage emperor of the Inca Empire, but he pays no heed to the needs of others. Spoiled and vainglorious, he cares more about luxury than leadership. After a potion from Yzma turns him into a llama rather than causing his death, Kuzco realizes the error of his ways.
Razputin “Raz” Aquato from Psychonauts
Razputin “Raz” Aquato (voiced by Richard Steven Horvitz) is a 10-year-old psychic and the main character of the Psychonauts game series. In addition to his psychic abilities, Raz comes from a family of acrobats and is a natural performer. Though his costume changes slightly in each game, he typically wears a leather circus cap and red aviator goggles with brown gloves and a green turtleneck. His bag proudly displays his merit badges.
Chris McLean
Chris McLean is a main character in the Cartoon Network series, Total Drama Island. He is the host of the show, where he puts campers to the test for a cash prize. An overwhelming narcissist, Chris only cares about himself, and harbors little concern for the safety of the contestants. He derives pleasure from the torment of the challenges, and he grows more sadistic with each season. And yet outfit remains the same, with a laidback, island feel. Use the brown eyeshadow to create his five-o’clock shadow.
Rick O’Connell
Richard “Rick” O’Connell is the main character in The Mummy film franchise. He served as a captain in the French Foreign Legion before becoming an adventurer. He meets Evelyn and Jonathan Carnahan while being held in a Cairo prison, but he is released early to lead them to Hamunaptra. He proves himself as a skilled gunslinger and fighter against Imohotep and his zombies. When he rescues Evelyn from the mummy, they fall in love and eventually marry. Rick is often compared to the likes of Indiana Jones and Nathan Drake. He is portrayed by beloved actor Brendan Fraser.
Sanford
Sanford is a character in the Madness Combat series. He mainly fights alongside Deimos in Madness Combat 5. He appears as a protagonist in Madness Combat 5.5, and then regularly in later iterations of the game. Sanford is skilled in various forms of fighting, though his preferred choice of weaponry involves melee weapons. His signature weapon is the hook, and he uses a firearm from time to time. Unlike his reckless partner, his fighting approach is tactical and serious.
Chicken Little
In the 2005 Disney film Chicken Little, Ace Cluck (voiced by Zach Braff), also known as Chicken Little, is a young rooster who caused pandemonium in his town when he thought the sky was falling and started to panic. Chicken Little gets a reputation for ruining things accidentally, though he is an honest and brave chicken.
Hikaru Sulu
Hikaru Sulu is a main character in Star Trek: The Original Series. He served as helm officer onboard the U.S.S Enterprise alongside Pavel Chekov. He was then promoted to chief helmsman by Captain Kirk. A few decades later, Sulu assumed command of the starship Excelsior. After a full career, he remained captain on patrol of the Cardassian border. His hobbies included fencing, botany, and martial arts. George Takei (oh my!) portrays Sulu in the television series, and John Cho portrays Sulu in the 2009 cinema reboot.
