Carbon Costume

Itachi (voiced in Japanese by Hideo Ishikawa and in English by Skip Stellrecht) is a major character in the Naruto franchise.

He is Sasuke Uchiha’s older brother, a former member of the Anbu, and a prominent member of the Akatsuki after defecting from the village of Konoha. While part of Akatsuki, he is partnered with Kisame Hoshigaki.

Itachi has long black hair, worn down in the front in long side-draped bangs, and his eyes, with deep set bags underneath them, are a dark greyish black, though more often he’s shown using the Sharingan, turning his eyes red. He wears a slashed version of the Konoha headband, signifying his status as missing nin, as well as a metal circled necklace, blackish purple nailpolish, and a ring like the rest of the Akatsuki, with his being red with the kanji ‘shu’. His under layer is typical ninja wear like the majority of the rest of the cast, with a slightly meshed dark top with elasticized matching capri pants, as well as typical ninja sandals with white spats on top. He wears an Akatsuki cloak over top of all of this.

James Potter is a character from the Harry Potter book and movie series, where he is played by Adrian Rawlins. He is the father of Harry Potter and marries to Lily Potter before they were murdered by Lord Voldemort. James was also a student at Hogwarts and was said to have been a troublemaker during his time at the school. James Potter appears rarely in the film series but we do get to see him very young and then as a father.

To dress like James as we see him appear in the films, wear a chunky knit sweater, a collared shirt or a collared shirt with a tie underneath the sweater, and pair with round glasses.

Demyx (voiced in Japanese by Kenichi Suzumura and in English by Ryan O’Donohue) is part of the main group of antagonists in the Kingdom Hearts game franchise.

He is number Nine in Organization XIII, and uses water magic and his Sitar named Arpeggio to fight. At the current point in the story, he’s changed course on where he stands, and is operating seemingly on his own side, though debatably working with Sora’s crew.

Demyx has blondish-brown hair that he wears partially up in a mohawk, and down in the back in a short mullet. His eyes are a tourquoisey-blue. He also wears the standard Organization XIII wear, with the fitted black cloak, black gloves, black pants, and black boots with silver top trim.

Skid (voiced by Sr Pelo) is one of the two main protagonists of the YouTube series Spooky Month.  Skid is best friends with Pump, and both enjoy all things scary as much as possible.  While they celebrate spooky season, they also find themselves often embroiled with serial killers, eldritch horrors, and plenty of other terrifying things.  Skid’s costume is skeleton-inspired.  For your costume, you’ll want a cartoonish skeleton onesie, white shoes, and white gloves.  For his mask, choose a similar round mask and embellish it with a jumbo permanent mark.

The 14th Doctor is the current iteration of the Doctor. When the 13th Doctor regenerated at Durdle Door, the next incarnation took on a familiar face – aka David Tennant, who previously portrayed the 10th Doctor. Both fans and the Time Lord alike were baffled. The three episode special for the 60th anniversary features the 14th Doctor and another familiar face – Donna Noble, a former companion of the 10th doctor. Ncuti Gatwa will portray the 15th Doctor, but as Riversong says – spoilers!

Anarky, or Lonnie Machin, is a DC comics character. He is a teenage prodigy who is believed to be the son of the Joker. He believes in anarchism and creates and invents different gadgets to undermine the government in an attempt to improve society.

Typically you’ll see him wearing some sort of white or gold mask. A look of his that can be easily recreated is this one that consists of the mask, a black hoodie with the red ‘A’ symbol which can be done with red fabric paint, black gloves, cameo patterned pants, and black combat boots.

Tim Burton’s 2005 Willy Wonka film, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory features Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka. This film follows the classic story by Roald Dahl about Charlie Bucket and his Grandpa Joe as they join a group of contest winners in which they get the opportunity to tour Wonka’s factory.

Willy Wonka’s costume has some similarities to the original we know with Gene Wilder, but has its own take on the chocolatier. This costume has more of a red and black color scheme, consisting of a red velvet coat, black pants, a black vest, a black hat, pattered collared shirt underneath the vest, gloves, chain accessories, and a cane/ walking stick.

Sanji is a character in One Piece. Callous yet charming, Sanji is a master chef and martial artist. He primarily uses his legs in combat, a technique from his mentor and head chef Zeff. His goal is to find the All Blue, a mythical sea that merges the four seas together. And of course, he wants to cook quality meals for everyone. Sanji loves women, though he is not creepy or perverse like in the anime. the 2023 live action Netflix adaptation, Taz Skylar portrays Sanji.
