Kendrick Lamar from Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show

For his halftime performance at Super Bowl LIX emceed by Samuel L. Jackson, Kendrick Lamar sported an unforgettable outfit. His Martine Rose custom-designed jacket read “Gloria” across the front and pgLang, his creative agency, across the back. His black cap was adorned with a Rahaminov Diamonds Angel Wing brooch. He also wore an iced-out lowercase ‘a’ around his neck, courtesy of jeweler Eliantte, a nod to his infamous “a minor” line in Not Like Us. Most striking of all, however, was that KDot successfully brought back the flared jeans look. You’ll most likely have to substitute his $1,200 denim from French fashion house Celine for a more attainable pair to replicate his look.

the butt witch from twelve forever

The Butt Witch from Twelve Forever

The Butt Witch (voiced by Matt Berry) is the primary antagonist of the animated series Twelve Forever.  She has a deep dislike of Reggie Abbott, who fights against her superhero alter-ego Twelve when Reggie and her friends visit Endless Island.  The Butt Witch is a red and green humanoid.  To create your costume, you’ll want to start with a red bodysuit, gloves with elongated fingers, and red boots to match.  Then, slide green wristbands over your arms and add a yellow belt.  Use green body paint on your face before adding a lavender wig.  You can also wear a horned headband and white and pink sunglasses if you’d like to add details that emulate the shape of her hair and the color of her eyes from the show.

Goro Akechi’s Third Semester Outfits from Persona 5 Royal

Goro Akechi (voiced in Japanese by Sōichirō Hoshi, and in English by Robbie Daymond) is a major character in the Persona 5 game franchise. If you would like to see how to put together his regular outfit, please check out this article here.

He is one of the main antagonists, though in Royal he ends up forming an unwilling sort of truce with Akira. These are the two outfits that he wears for the third semester, specifically in Royal, after the main story of base game P5 comes to a close.

One small detail about third sem is that his hair seems a bit longer and a bit messier, though still the same shaggy brown, and his brown eyes seem much more dull. For the first outfit, he wears a midtoned brown winter coat, over top of a white button down shirt and a black and green plaid vest. The look is finished off with a pair of dark jeans, black loafers, and black gloves. His second outfit is a little harder to see, as he only has the coat visible, but it’s a tan colored double breasted peacoat, worn over a pair of black slacks, and he’s wearing the same black shoes and gloves. Similar to Akira, he is also wearing a scarf, but his is more of a designer style, in reds, greys, and greens, with gold accenting.

Heart Eyes Killer

Heart Eyes Killer from Heart Eyes

In the 2025 slasher Heart Eyes, the Heart Eyes Killer is a serial killer who targets romantic couples around every Valentine’s Day. This horror movie from the producers of Scream uses the same blend of horror and comedy, and slots in nicely with other holiday-themed horror movies like Christmas’s Krampus and Thanksgiving’s John Carver. The Heart Eyes Killer’s look is standard slasher fare (dark work jacket, work boots, leather gloves), but with the added twist of a stitched tan leather mask with light-up heart-shaped eyes. To go the extra mile with your own costume, install some red LED lights behind the glasses.

Teruko Ōkura from Bungo Stray Dogs

Teruko (voiced in Japanese by Makoto Koichi and in English by Cherami Leigh) is a minor antagonist in the Sky Casino portion of the Bungo Stray Dogs series.

She is the vice captain of the Hunting Dogs, and her ability allows her to shift her form between different ages, as well as those she uses it on, which she uses for psychological manipulation and torture. Physically she appears as a younger girl, but her exact age is unknown, and presumably much older (similar to Bisky in Hunter x Hunter).

Teruko has purpley-pink eyes, and pinkish-red hair, which she wears tied off into a side ponytail with a purple ribbon and pink jewel hair tie. She is most often seen wearing the Hunting Dogs uniform, when she’s not in a disguise, which is (in the anime) a red uniform jacket and pants, a matching hat, a slightly darker red cloak, black army boots, white gloves, and a sword in a belt holster.

Sherri ‘Cherry’ Valance from The Outsiders Musical

Sherri ‘Cherry’ Valance is a character in The Outsiders novel and Broadway musical. She is a Soc, but she’s friends with Ponyboy, a Greaser. Her boyfriend is Bob, the leader of the Socs. When Bob gets dies in a fight with Ponyboy and Johnny, she becomes closer to the Greasers. Open-minded, sensitive, and courageous, Cherry shows Ponyboy that their differences are only superficial. Emma Pittman plays Cherry in the Broadway adaptation. We managed to source the exact shoes she wears in the show! Credit to this Tumblr post for their references so we can suggest pieces in our costume guide!

tammy from creepwood

Tammy from Creepwood

Tammy (voiced by Grey DeLisle-Griffin) is one of the three protagonists of the animated pilot Creepwood.  A cheerleader at Creepwood High School, Tammy fights zombies alongside fellow classmates Wallace and Dante.  In addition to being a cheerleader, she is also a martial artist.  Tammy has long blonde hair she wears in a ponytail and wears a blue, white, and pink cheerleading uniform with blue shoes and a blue hair tie.  You can use pink fabric paint to embellish a blue and white uniform and a blonde ponytail extension to get a longer, higher ponytail.  Use blue scrunchies to help camouflage where you’ve attached the ponytail extension to your natural hair.

Human Diana from Sailor Moon

Diana (voiced in Japanese by Kumiko Nishihara and in English by Naomi Emmerson, Loretta Jafelice, and Debi Derryberry) is one of the secondary main characters in the Sailor Moon anime/manga.

She is the daughter of Luna and Artemis, and like them is usually seen in cat form. While her parents are connected to Sailor Moon and Sailor Venus respectively, she is the assigned advisor for Sailor Chibi Moon.

While in her human form, she has light grey hair, worn up in four small buns at the top of her head, magenta eyes, and a small gold moon in the center of her forehead. She wears small gold stud earrings, a white collar with a golden bell on it, and she has a small grey tail protruding from her back. The rest of her outfit consists of a low cut grey dress with long sleeves and ribbon decorating around the midsection, skirt, and sleeves, with gold ball details, and a white petticoat. It’s finished off with a pair of grey thigh-high stockings with the same dark grey detailing as the dress, dark grey pumps, and little white pompoms around her ankles.

Red from Descendants Rise of the Red

Red is the titular main protagonist in Descendants: The Rise of Red, a spin-off in Disney’s Descendants movies. Played by Kylie Cantrall, she is the daughter of the Queen of Hearts, making her the Princess of Red Hearts. She meets Chloe Charming, daughter of Cinderella and Prince Charming, and the unlikely pair become best friends. Together they use the Pocket Watch to travel back in time to prevent a coup led by the Queen. Smart and rebellious, Red is a troublemaker, but only due to her mother’s neglect. Her passion, courage, and care for her friends show that deep down, she really isn’t bad. This outfit is more of a style guide rather than an accurate cosplay. Think red and black with a punk edge.
