Sherri “Cherry” Valance (played by Diane Lane) is a character in the film The Outsiders, directed by Francis Ford Coppola.  Unlike Ponyboy and Two-Bit, who are Greasers, Cherry is an extremely popular girl and a member of the Socs, though she is much nicer than many of her peers.  Cherry has long, red hair and her clothing appeals to her social status, with clean lines and preppy colors.

In Wreck It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks The Internet, Vanellope Von Schweetz encounters her fellow Disney princesses. Queen Elsa (voiced by Indina Menzel) wears pajamas for the slumber party with a “Just Let It Go” fleece and sparkly leggings. Pair this casual outfit with a strawberry milkshake as seen here. Tammy Faye Bakker (played by Jessica Chastain) is the infamous wife of Jim Bakker in the film The Eyes of Tammy Faye.  The film follows the rise and fall of the controversial couple from young children’s show hosts to rich and powerful televangelists.  Tammy Faye’s costuming throughout the film offers an array of options, whether portraying her younger self with chic ’60s style or the more commonly known version with bright blue eye shadow, don’t be afraid to mix and match different pieces to recreate her looks.  For instance, layering a puff-sleeved blouse over a camisole and combining it with a skirt can help evoke the same look of Tammy’s white brocade dress, which can be hard to duplicate.

Nina Rosario (Leslie Grace) is a character in the movie musical, In The Heights. An adventurous and intelligent girl, she is the first in her family to attend college, namely Stanford University. Everyone in the barrio cheers her on, as she “made it out.” But when Nina returns for the summer, she announces she dropped out. Her solo, “Breathe,” is about her struggle to tell the truth, because she feels like a failure. She becomes frustrated with her father’s overprotective nature and his refusal to accept Benny as her lover.

Tanya McQuoid (played by Jennifer Coolidge) is an insecure woman who vacations at the titular resort in the HBO series The White Lotus.  Tanya’s mother has recently died, and Tanya totes her cremated remains all the way to her Hawaiian getaway.  Tanya is struggling with the loss, as well as a lackluster love life, and turns to the resort’s spa manager Belinda for guidance and comfort.  Tanya wears an array of super expensive clothing, so finding exact matches for any of the pieces she dons will be a challenge.  Instead, focus on recreating similar silhouettes or using the same color palette when recreating one of her looks.

Vanessa Morales (Melissa Barerra) is a character in the movie musical, In The Heights. She works at Daniela’s salon. She is the prettiest girl in the Heights, but she only has eyes for Usnavi. She wants to get out of the barrio and get an apartment downtown. Fun fact: Vanessa is named after Lin’s actual wife, Vanessa!

Rachel Patton (played by Alexandra Daddario) is a struggling journalist and the new wife of Shane on HBO’s The White Lotus.  Rachel is not from the same wealthy background as the other visitors to the luxurious resort, a fact which makes her an easy target for ridicule, especially from teenagers Paula and Olivia.  Rachel goes everywhere with her expensive shoulder bag, as if trying to advertise that she truly belongs at the Lotus.  Mrs. Patton wears several unique outfits, so there are plenty to choose from, but her white bikini and mismatched coverups culminate in one of her most memorable scenes; a dip in the pool after bearing the brunt of Paula and Olivia’s jeers.
