Hope from Booksmart

Hope is a character from the movie Booksmart, and is played by Diana Silvers. The comedy film follows best friends Amy and Molly at the end of their senior year, where they attempt to experience things they haven’t in school like partying, but all in one night before graduation. Hope is a cool classmate of theirs and is Amy’s crush who she ends up with in the end.

Lae’zel from Baldur’s Gate 3

Lae’zel is a character from the video game, Baldur’s Gate 3. She is a Githyanki Fighter. She is a proud soldier of her people, and believes the creche will cure the mind flayer tadpole. Lae’zel has an appetite for battle, usually itching to wield her sword rather than stop to help others. While initially harsh and biting, she develops a soft side, which the player will see if romancing her. Stay on her good side and she’ll come to respect you as a leader.

Ariko Katsuragi/Alice from Alice’s Warped Wonderland/Alice in Distortionworld

Ariko/Alice is the main character of the horror game Alice in Distortionworld/Alice’s Warped Wonderland, though the name is imposed on her as the other characters insist on calling her it.

She fulfills the role of ‘Alice’ in a world that is both Wonderland and her own, but with a much darker twist to it, and the worry of not knowing who to trust. Her guide throughout the world is this story’s iteration of the Cheshire Cat.

Alice has mid-toned brown eyes, and her hair is the same color, reaching down to the middle of her back with short bangs. She wears a red dress with puffed sleeves, a black collar with a matching ribbon, and black lace trim layered around the hems. A white lace-trimmed apron is worn over top, and she has matching socks that she wears with black mary-janes.

Angie Polaski (played by Erika Christensen) is a main character in the TV series Will Trent, based on the Karin Slaughter book series.  Angie is police officer with the Atlanta PD partnered with Michael Ormewood, and grew up in foster care alongside the titular Will, who she dates on and off at the start of the series.  She is also a recovering addict.  Angie has red hair and a purposefully unaffected demeanor.  She cuts her hair short in season two.  Angie wears a wide arrange of styles.  If you choose to recreate this look from season one, you’ll need grey boots, wide leg pants, a bright sweater and orange neckerchief, topped with an oversized coat.  One of her looks in season two includes dark jeans and a green button down under a burgudny sweater.  Her gold hoops and small brown purse make several appearances throughout the series.

Liv Morgan is an American professional wrestler and actress. Her aesthetic is fun, spunky, and full of neon color. For her eye makeup, apply the hot pink eyeshadow under your eyes and drag it down with a brush. Use the black fabric paint to make the stripes on the denim top and shorts. Decorate the shorts with the red star stickers. Affix the calligraphy stickers down the arm sock to spell out “LIV.”

Famine Devil or “Fami” is a character in the Chainsaw Man manga. She embodies the fear of famine and starvation. She is one of the four Horsemen, making her the sister of Makima (now Nayuta) and Yoru. As of now, Fami poses as a student and member of the Devil Hunters Club alongside Asa. This makes her strangely familiar with Yoshida. Eerily calm and composed, Fami has a knack for reading others. Her end goal is to take down the Death Devil. Initially, she sought to use Asa and Denji as pawns, but as of late, the two sisters seem to be working together. She utilizes lethal methods, such as summoning the Guillotine Devil.

Julie from Lady Bird

Julie is a character from the A24 film Lady Bird, directed by Greta Gerwig and is played by Beanie Feldstein. Lady Bird follows a strong-willed high school senior that goes by Lady Bird, as she navigates troubles with her family, the transition through graduation, and what she wants in life. Her best friend in the film is Julie who is loyal to Lady Bird despite their arguments.

Julie has two notable looks in the film that can be recreated and even worn as a fun duo costume with your best friend. The first is her school uniform just like Lady Bird’s, which is a navy sweater vest, a short sleeve light blue polo shirt, a gray pleated skirt, and Julie pins small colorful clips in her hair. Another is from their prom night, where she wears a formal light purple dress.

Marian is one of the main characters from the new comedy film, Drive-Away Dolls, and is played by Margaret Qualley. Drive-Away Dolls follows two friends Jamie and Marian as they take an unexpected road trip to Florida in search of a new start, but as they do so, they run into a group of criminals.

To dress like Marian, wear a blue blazer and shirt with a bow at the neckline, or a blue denim button-down shirt over a white tee and blue jeans.  You can also match with a friend dressed as Jamie.

Barb Howard from Fallout

A new TV series has been going viral online for its spot-on live action adaptation of the video game franchise Fallout that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world. This series depicts the aftermath of The Great War of 2077, where survivors take refuge in fallout shelters or Vaults, which are actually all created as different experiments on the people who live in them. It follows a woman named Lucy who leaves Vault 33 to find her father in the dangerous wasteland of what is left of Los Angeles. She runs into a Ghoul bounty hunter, originally named Cooper Howard. In the series we also get to meet Cooper’s wife named Barb Howard, and learn more about their story as the series progresses.

To dress like Barb Howard, wear a 50s style peach or pink dress, a short deep brown curly wig, retro heels, and pearl jewelry.
