Women
Mercury from Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls
Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls is a cartoon concept that was pitched to Hasbro by Lauren Faust. Although Hasbro passed on it, it eventually morphed into the highly successful My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. MWGG is inspired by the 90’s Strawberry Shortcake series, with a dash of the anime Sailor Moon, with the girls as the personification of different planets. Mercury’s winged sneaker-skates propel her through the cosmos in a shimmery silver flash at the speed of light.
Pokémon Trainers from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are set in the Paldea region, where the trainers are students at either Naranja or Uva Academy. They take part in the annual treasure hunt, where they must explore the open-ended world, defeat rival students on Team Star, fight giant Pokémon, and battle Gym Leaders to become the best Pokémon Trainer.
Mayura from Miraculous Ladybug
In Miraculous Ladybug, Mayura (real name Nathalie Sancoeur) is a sidekick to Gabriel Agreste / Hawk Moth, assisting him in stealing miraculouses with the help of the Peacock Miraculous. As Nathalie, she takes care of Adrien; as Mayura, she’s willing to destroy Cat Noir and Ladybug.
Rhaenyra Targaryen from House of the Dragon
In House of the Dragon, Rhaenyra Targaryen (young Rhaenyra played by Milly Alock, older by Emma D’Arcy) is the first-born child of King Viserys I, who named her heir to the Iron Throne. After the king’s death, her claim is challenged by her half-brother Aegon II however, with the backing of his mother Alicent and grandfather Otto Hightower.
Crona Gorgon from Soul Eater
Crona Gorgon (Voiced by Maxey Whitehead in English and Maaya Sakamoto in Japanese) is one of the reluctant antagonists turned friend in the anime Soul Eater.
Raised by their mother, Medusa, to eventually become a Kishin, Crona had a very rough and abusive upbringing. With the help of Maka Albarn and her friends, Crona was able to come out of their shell a bit more, and finally joined the group’s school, leaving their mother’s control behind, at least in the anime.
They have very rough and unevenly chopped light pinkish-lavender hair, and their eyes tend to range in color from a very dark grey-blue to a lighter blue, depending on the emotion they’re showing. Crona’s outfit is a long black dress with a white high-buttoned collar and white matching cuffs, with black shoes that also have a white cuff topper.
Doll (Freckles) from Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler
Doll (Voiced in Japanese by Ayahi Takagaki and in English by Mikaela Krantz) is one of the first-string members in Noah’s Ark Circus, in the anime Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler.
She is the tightrope walker specialist of the circus and has an elegant persona while on stage, but also goes by the name Freckles, which is a lot truer to her actual personality.
Doll has one visible blue eye, the other covered by heavy facial scarring from burns, and choppy auburn hair that falls over the damaged eye. The outfit she wears as Freckles is light but also layered, as it’s fairly cold when the circus is running. It consists of a navy blue long sleeved shirt, with a white top button shirt over it, and a greyish lavender cardigan. Her pants are brown capris with differently shaded pockets, and brown lace-up boots.
Tiffany Fluffit from The Bad Guys
Tiffany Fluffit (voiced by Lilly Singh) is a minor character in the animated movie The Bad Guys. Tiffany often covers the exploits of Mr. Wolf and his crew, as well as the other important happenings of the film. Tiffany wears a purple pants suit and flats to match. Her accessories run the gamut from gold hoops to hair beads and a blue bracelet.
Elizabeth Holmes
Elizabeth Holmes is the promising young founder of the biotech company Theranos, who was convicted of committing fraud. She styled herself after visionary Apple founder Steve Jobs, black Issey Miyake turtleneck and all. In the Hulu series The Dropout, Holmes was played by Amanda Seyfried. To really nail the part, you better practice lowering your speaking voice.
Ada Wong from Resident Evil 4
Ada Wong (voiced in RE4 by Sally Cahill) is a character from the Resident Evil franchise. She has appeared in several iterations throughout the course of the series. In Resident Evil 4, Ada wears an embroidered dress with a high thigh slit. There are a few ways you can choose to recreate her appearance, including buying a replica dress. Otherwise, you can opt for a simpler version or a plain red dress with a similar silhouette. You can also choose to wear either flats or heels depending on which you prefer. Be sure to top the outfit off with a thigh holster and a prop gun, as Ada’s work as a spy means she’s always armed.
Misty Luggins from The Bad Guys
Chief Misty Luggins (voiced by Alex Borstein) is a police officer intent on catching Mr. Wolf and his gang in the movie The Bad Guys. Chief Luggins has a very narrow definition of right and wrong, which becomes apparent when she remains committed to catching the Bad Guys crew even after they’ve proven themselves to be redeemable. Chief Luggins has ginger red hair and wears a short-sleeved police uniform with dark blue shorts. She also wears black boots and has six stars on the lapel of her uniform shirt.
