Elizabeth "Polly" Gray (Helen McCrory) is a character in Peaky Blinders. She was the mother of Michael and Anna Gray and the aunt of Arthur, Thomas, John, Ada, and Finn Shelby. She is the matriarch of the Shelby Family and a part of The Peaky Blinders, a criminal gang and accountant of her surname's company. While her brothers were absent during WWI, Polly managed the gang and gave business advice to her nephews. She was killed by the IRA as a result of her participation.
