Amber from Grabbed by the Ghoulies

Cooper from Grabbed by the Ghoulies

Cooper (voiced by Steve Malpass) is the main character of the Grabbed by the Ghoulies video game.  The premise of the game is that Cooper must save his girlfriend Amber from Ghoulhaven Hall, a mansion plagued by a plethora of supernatural creatures.  Cooper is a teenage boy with light blonde, spiky hair.  He wears tan shoes, light blue jeans, and a bright green sweater with a contrasting stripe around his midsection and collar.  To recreate his look, you can go for an easier green and purple striped top, but if you’re up for a little DIY you can get a better match by taking a green sweater and adding your own details with some fabric paint.  Top off the look with jeans, boots, and a spiky wig.

bayonetta from bayonetta 3

Bayonetta from Bayonetta 3

Bayonetta (voiced in Bayonetta 3 by Jennifer Hale) is the titular witch of the PlatinumGames series.  Bayonetta is an Umbra Witch tasked with protecting the multiverse alongside her apprentice Viola in the third installment of the franchise.  Bayonetta’s costume is complex and will require a little creativity to recreate.  As a base, you’ll need black leggings with a lace cutout design and a puffy-sleeved backless shirt.  Bayonetta’s belt and skirt in the game are crafted from her own hair.  If you’d rather not collect your locks to weave a costume, a black obi sash and tutu will suffice.  Lastly, you’ll need light purple gloves, glasses, and a long black wig plaited on either side with red cord.  The gold details of her outfit, if you choose to add them, can be recreated with a glue gun, some gold glue, and applique pieces.  Be strategic about which aspects of her costume are most important to you.  You can add gold flowers to the tutu, floral applique to the gloves, and even some gold details to the heels of your shoes.  Finding a replica gun from the game can be quite expensive, so consider using a toy foam blaster that will help evoke the same feel even if it’s not an exact match.

madison paige from heavy rain

Madison Paige from Heavy Rain

Madison Paige (voiced by Judi Beecher) is one of the four playable characters in the video game Heavy Rain.  A journalist, Madison meets Ethan Mars while he is searching for his son, the latest victim of the Origami Killer.  Along with the other characters, her fate is determined by the player’s choices throughout the course of the game.  Madison wears several outfits in Heavy Rain, but her most memorable is probably the tight black skirt, red blouse, and black heels she wears to the Blue Lagoon.  Otherwise, she also dons dark jeans and a few different jackets.  So if short skirts aren’t you’re thing, pair a moto-style jacket with bootcut jeans and a short black wig and you’re ready to go.
