Carmen from The Bear
Carmen is from the series The Bear and is played by Jeremy Allen White. The Bear is about a chef named Carmen, who has quit fine dining and returns to Chicago to try and fix the run down sandwich shop, previously owned by his brother who passed. We follow his struggles in gaining respect from the previous kitchen staff while dealing with grief and the stressful environment all at once.
Carmen wears the same uniform most of the kitchen staff does, which is a deep blue denim apron, a white shirt, black pants and black shoes. Add two kitchen towels at your sides and you’ll look just like this determined chef!
Fleabag
‘Fleabag’ from the series Fleabag is created and played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Fleabag is adapted from what it originally was, a live one-woman show by Bridge. She then created a hilarious two-season series where we watch her navigate grief and life in London while she runs a guinea pig themed cafe on her own. In the second season, she focuses on her love interest, The Priest, played by the talented Andrew Scott. Fleabag has a completely unfiltered and hilarious personality.
This relatable character has a very distinct style that carries across both seasons. Her style is timeless and a little quirky with lots of black, white and pops of red. She wears stylish and simple jumpsuits in season two that are very recognizable of the character.
Amy Lau from Beef
Amy Lau (played by Ali Wong) is one half of the toxic road ragers at the heart of the Netflix and A24 series Beef. Amy is a high-strung entrepreneur attempting to broker a deal for her business while also juggling motherhood, a strained relationship with her husband and mother-in-law, and her increasingly volatile interactions with Danny Cho. Amy changes her hair throughout the series, but is rarely seen without her signature octagon glasses. Her wardrobe draws on neutral tones and natural fabrics, with a chic but relaxed silhouette. You can’t go wrong with a comfortably oversized jumpsuit in beige or grey.
Danny Cho from Beef
Danny Cho (played by Steven Yeun) is a down-on-his-luck contractor who enters into an increasingly virulent game of chicken with Amy Lau in the Netflix and A24 series Beef. Danny lives with his lazy brother and struggles to keep his business afloat in the wake of his parents losing the motel they ran for years. Danny’s clothing is far less fashionable than Amy’s, favoring comfort even when he’s not at work. He also often layers a white tee of some kind under his clothes, or wears it alone when at home or exercising.
Ian Gallagher from Shameless
Ian Gallagher (Cameron Monaghan) is a character in the Showtime comedy drama Shameless. He is a member of the Gallagher family, born out of an affair between Monica and Frank’s brother. Ian can be goofy but he has a strong heart and spirit. He is gay and is in an on-and-off relationship with Mickey Milkovich.
Lucia from The White Lotus
Lucia (Simona Tabasco) is a character in HBO’s The White Lotus. She first appears in season two. Lucia is a sex worker who convinces her friend, Mia, to join the industry as well. Together the two girls hustle the rich attendants of The White Lotus resort.
Midge from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
In Amazon Prime’s comedy-drama The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Miriam (Midge) is a Jewish-American housewife living in 1950’s New York City. With her impeccable wardrobe, elegant home, rigorous beauty regimen, and a family of her own, she appears to have everything figured out. But when life takes an unexpected turn for the worst, she discovers a hidden talent for stand-up comedy and hits the road to stardom with her amateur talent manager Susie Myerson. Midge flaunts countless iconic looks throughout the series, but nothing says Mrs. Maisel more than the all-pink ensemble from the show’s first episode. This costume will have you screaming “We got the Rabbi!” outside your local deli.
Logan Roy from Succession
Logan Roy (played by Brian Cox) is the overbearing patriarch at the heart of HBO’s Succession. The CEO and founder of Waystar Royco, three of Logan’s children, Kendall, Roman, and Siobhan all vie for power within the family’s company. Logan grew up in poverty in Scotland, but the clothing he wears now befits his status as a rich and powerful businessman. Logan also often favors cozy sweaters, sometimes layering them with a blazer.
Kendall Roy from Succession
Kendall Roy (played by Jeremy Strong) is the second song of CEO Logan Roy on the HBO series Succession. A former cocaine addict, Kendall is considered first in line to inherit his father’s company, but he has yet to fully earn Logan’s trust. Kendall often uses his expensive wardrobe to try and blend into his surroundings, like wearing expensive sneakers to impress people in the art world or wearing outdoors-y gear to seem less buttoned up. Don’t be afraid to choose some of your favorite of Kendall’s looks and mix different pieces.
Roman Roy from Succession
Roman Roy (played by Kieran Culkin) is one of Logan Roy‘s children on the HBO show Succession. While Roman exhibits much of his father’s bravado and charisma, Logan worries his youngest son’s immaturity prevents him from being a good fit for the job of taking over Waystar Royco. Roman’s hair is a little more unruly and unkempt than his father or brother Kendall and he can often be seen sporting a five o’clock shadow.
