Tommy Pickles (voiced by Elizabeth Daily) was a staple in the childhood of many Millennials. He led the group of friends known as the Rugrats, usually getting them into trouble (even if some of it was just make believe). His leadership and adventurous nature drove the whole show, so it’s no wonder people might want to cosplay as Tommy!

There are two ways to go about a cosplay like this. One is to get as close as possible to the original character and the other is to put a slight spin on. To get really close to the character, go for a blue t-shirt, a costume diaper, a prop bottle, a Reptar toy, and invisible shoes like those in this YouTube tutorial. If you don’t want to go the diaper route, you can swap that piece for a pair of white pants and a pair of shoes that match your skin tone. In either case remember to use yellow fabric paint to recreate the iconic yellow tabs on Tommy’s diaper. And while you might want to ditch the bottle if you go with the jeans, keep Reptar nearby.
