Scarlett from GI Joe
Scarlett is a member of GI Joe and the first female character. Real name Shana M. O’Hara, she’s skilled in martial arts and acrobatics, and specializes in counterintelligence. Although she’s adept with all kinds of weapons, her tool of choice is the crossbow. Alongside Gung-Ho and Stalker, she’s one of the field commanders.
Sgt. Slaughter from GI Joe
In GI Joe, Sgt. Slaughter was a drill instructor with the United States Marine Corps who was literally born on Parris Island. He’s the toughest, no-nonsense member of all the Joes. He’s inspired by the pro wrestler Robert Rudolph Remus who performed under the same name and voiced him in the 1980s Sunbow cartoon. Slaughter’s standard uniform was a black tank top, camo pants, mirrored sunglasses, and a big bushy mustache.
Wild Bill from GI Joe
In GI Joe, Wild Bill (voiced by Frank Welker) is the pilot of the Dragonfly helicopter. After service in the Vietnam War as William S. Hardy, he received specialized training and joined the GI Joe team. He’s also an expert scout and tracker, skills he acquired hunting as a child in Texas. In his off time, he enjoys telling tall tales and singing country western songs.
Gung-Ho from GI Joe
In GI Joe, Gung-Ho (voiced by Chris Latta) is a member of the Joe Team. Real name Ettienne R. LaFitte, he was born into a large cajun clan in Louisiana. After serving the US Marine Corps, he joined the Joe team where he became famous for his expertise in jungle warfare and his unwavering bravery.
Cutter from GI Joe
In GI Joe, Cutter (real name Ronald “Skip” A. Stone) was an elite Coast Guard patrolman. When he learned the Joe Team didn’t have a Coast Guard representative, he made it his mission to become one. Cutter is known for his iron will, wry humor, and skillful piloting of the WHALE Hovercraft.
Bazooka from GI Joe
In GI Joe, Bazooka (voiced by John Hostetter) is a sergeant on the Joe Team and its missile specialist. Real name David L. Katzenbogen, he was originally a tank operator before applying for a transfer. Despite his clumsy and forgetful nature, he is known to be a quick-witted strategic mind.
Shipwreck from GI Joe
In GI Joe, Shipwreck (voiced by Neil Ross) is a member of the Joe team. Real name Hector X. Delgado, he grew up near the San Diego Navy Yards and enlisted in the navy at age 16. Accompanied by his loyal parrot Polly, he now serves on the Joe Team where he goes by the simple motto “See the target, shoot the target”. His design is said to be inspired by Jack Nicholson’s character from The Last Detail.
Erika from Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper
Erika is one of the two main characters in the 2004 animated Barbie movie, Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper. Both roles are played by Barbie. Erika is the “pauper” character in contrast to Princess Anneliese. Although she works to pay off her parents’ debt at the dress supplier for the palace, Erika dreams of becoming a singer and traveling the world. Upon a chance meeting, Anneliese and Erika learn that they are identical, and impersonate each other to fulfill their wishes. After falling in love and marrying King Dominick, she becomes Queen Erika.
Elvis Cridlington from Fireman Sam
Elvis Cridlington (voiced by several actors including Steven Kynman and Andrew Hodwitz) is a character from the long-running BBC show Fireman Sam. He is a firefighter at Pontypandy Fire Station. Elvis is brave, but easily excitable, which can sometimes get him into trouble with his strict Station Officer. Elvis dons several uniforms throughout the course of the series, so when crafting your costume, be sure to focus on finding reflective work gear in shades of blue and yellow.
