Rosemary “Rose” Winters (voiced in English by Jeannie Tirado) is an American superhuman and a character in the Resident Evil Village video game.  The daughter of Ethan and Mia Winters, Rose’s body is comprised completely of Mold, a fungal superorganism capable of replicating human DNA.  Rose wears sturdy sneakers, a pair of distressed jeans, and her late father’s jacket.  She also carries a book called Village of Shadows that her parents used to read to her.

In Resident Evil 3, Nemesis debuted as the main villain, and has made appearances in later RE titles and Dead by Daylight. The Nemesis-T Type as it’s called, is a hulking monster that has superior intelligence to the other zombies in the series, and can even use weapons against you. The Nemesis was conceived when a Tyrant bioweapon humanoid was infected with the Nemesis Alpha parasite to boost its intelligence.

In the 2020 remake for Resident Evil 3, Jill Valentine was redesigned from the 1996 design. The game designers explain that with the graphical limitations of the original, they had to design her to visually stand out — and that meant a tube top and mini skirt. With the improved photorealistic graphics of the remake, Jill got a makeover, fitting into the world better with more practical tactical while keeping her iconic style.

Lady Alcina Dimitrescu has already taken the internet by storm. A beautiful vampire standing over nine feet tall with a killer smile, it’s easy to see why she caused a splash when she appeared in January’s Maiden. Her history is still largely unknown and will have to stay that way until Resident Evil: Village comes out this May. That hasn’t stopped fans from putting together cosplays in the Lady’s honor, our own among them!

While it is possible to use stilts to mimic the Lady’s height, it’s not recommended. Instead this cosplay focuses on Lady Dimitrescu’s style. A wide brimmed black hat, black leather gloves, black boots, and black flower pin all stand in sharp contrast to her flowing white empire waist gown. Her skin is also ghostly white which can be recreated using body paint. If you’d prefer to skip the body paint you can use a face painting kit to recreate the sharp lines and slightly undead look that gives away Lady Dimitrescu’s vampiric nature.

Finish the look with a dark brown wig. Lady Dimitrescu wears her hair pinned up in tight curls from the 1950s which you will have to recreate yourself. There are several tutorials on YouTube both on curling synthetic wigs and on recreating Dimitrescu’s look.

Be sure and put on your favorite red lipstick and you’re ready to rule a castle of your own.

Barry Burton from the Resident Evil franchise has been handed down from voice actor to voice actor but he remains the character that so many fans know and love. He is a dedicated family man which guides his hand in everything he does. And while is passionate about bringing down the Umbrella Corporation and stopping bioterrorism, he will not sacrifice the people he loves to do it.

He is a former member of the US Air Force and a backup for the elite S.T.A.R.S. unit. His experience means that he approaches his work with a very pragmatic and critical eye. Work boots, sturdy jeans, and an easy-access chest holster mean that he can get in, get the job done, and get out without worrying about his clothes making that harder. His buzz cut and clean shave are holdovers from his time in the military. And though he is well-versed in many weapons, he prefers his trusty revolver.

Claire Redfield is a college student searching for her missing brother, Chris. In the year 1998, during the events of the remake of Resident Evil 2, Claire’s (voiced by Stephanie Panisello) search takes her to Raccoon City, where she battles a series of challenging monsters and zombies before finally having the reunion she’s hoped for.

Chris Redfield is one of two playable characters from the Capcom survival horror game Resident Evil. He is a member of S.T.A.R.S, an elite branch of the Raccoon City Police Department. He and his squad, including Jill Valentine and Albert Wesker, are sent to investigate bizarre killing in the Raccoon Forest, only to end up trapped in a mansion full of zombies created by Umbrella Corporation.

In Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Karena LesProux, codenamed “Lupo,” is a retired French Special Forces operative who works as an elite covert agent for Umbrella Corporation’s Security Service unit during Operation Raccoon City.
