Rev-9 from Terminator: Dark Fate

In Terminator: Dark Fate, Legion sends a Rev-9 (played by Gabriel Luna) back in time to kill Dani Ramos, who leads the Resistance in the future. A merciless and terrifying machine, the Rev-9 is nearly unstoppable and can remove its dark black metal skeleton from its amorphous outer material to be in two places at once. The Rev-9 can take the form of anyone, and when he first confronts Dani, not only does he look like her father, but he has stolen his clothing as well.

Grace from Terminator: Dark Fate

In Terminator: Dark Fate, a new timeline provides humanity with even more deadly terminators. In the year 2042, Grace (played by Mackenzie Davis) is mortally wounded during a battle with Rev-7 terminators developed by Legion. As a result, she volunteers to be artificially augmented and become a cyborg with superhuman strength and abilities. Grace arrives in the modern world naked and steals her clothing from a couple who finds her.

Dani Ramos from Terminator: Dark Fate

In Terminator: Dark Fate, Dani Ramos (played by Natalia Reyes) is humanity’s only hope for stopping the deadly terminators created by Legion, an AI system originally developed to combat cyber attacks. Dani struggles to come to terms with her role as a Resistance leader and fight to survive not only for herself, but for the future of humanity. Dani works at an auto assembly plant in Mexico City and is dressed for work when she is first attacked by a Rev-9 and flees with Grace.

In Terminator 2, the Cyberdyne Systems T-800 Model (Arnold Schwarzenegger), once referred to as “Uncle Bob”, was sent from the future to arrive in Acton, California on June 8, 1995. Its mission was to protect young John Connor, which it successfully completed.

Sarah Connor

In the Terminator series, Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) is a young woman who finds herself pursued by a relentless Terminator android sent from the future. Over the course of the movies, she develops from a damsel in distress to a hardened bad-ass who’s prepared to take on all comers.

In Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, T-X (Kristanna Loken) is sent back in time to kill key members of the Resistance, including John Connor. As the first female Terminator, she’s appropriately nicknamed the Terminatrix.

John Connor

In the Terminator series, John Connor leads a resistance to fight robotic Terminators that have taken control in the future. He’s portrayed by different actors in each sequel but the youngest version (Edward Furlong) is the most memorable – probably because he taught the Terminator to say “Hasta la Vista, Baby!”
