In The Zero Theorem, Qohen Leth (Christoph Waltz) is an eccentric and reclusive computer programmer for Mancom. He files a request to work from home so that he won’t miss a phone call that will give him the meaning of life. Instead, he is visited by Bainsley.

In The Zero Theorem, Bainsley (Melanie Thierry) first enters Qohen Leth’s life when she saves him from choking on an olive at a party. She continues to show interest in the odd computer programmer, which seems a bit odd itself.
